It would seem weird to see him on one of them

The biggest thing to remember is that you have to have the power to push to the speakers or they will distort the louder you go. The stock amp on the bike doesn't push much, this is why some folks have gone with the EQ amp combo and matched up the speakers to the power output of what they purchased. My next G2 will have a sterio upgrade, more than likely with some Boston acoustic speakers front and rear

It's easy to sell a paintjob like that when someone is willing to model the "Stripes"

That is a smart move, dragging deer is not fun, especially since they seem to find the most inaccessable spots to expire Nice machine and I'm sure you'll have more fun with it than dragging deer

That was one of the mods that I wanted to do with my rear lights...looks like I'll have to do it on the "Next" G2 I get

Squidley replied to dharnie's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
They did...after they crashed -
I hate to say it, but that is the WORST looking 17K mileaged 1st gen I have ever seen. 2 owner and it looks as if it has set outside all it's life. Something smells funny with that one and my only responce would be "Buyer Beware"

Shaun, If you have a trunk rack on tour bike, 1st or 2nd gen the I would suggest a Kryakyn Trunk bag. I have used this style for years and it works great. http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=honda&ci=2811

trunk rack cracking lid?
Squidley replied to dharnie's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Freebird is right on the money, I have had trunk racks on 3 of my last 4 Ventures and used a Kuryakyn bags on them when were touring and I never had any problems. If your concerned about cracking further or want extra support, then run a strip of metal between the upper and lower holes and this will help stiffen the trunk lid up. -
Thanks everyone... We just got back home as Lonna stayed the night in the hospital and I stayed with her. The surgery was a great success and her bone is back where it was. Now the time to heal begins. I want to that Denden and Vicky for coming to the hospital lat night. It was great to see them and it meant a lot to Both of us. Dennis and I actually got to set down and have a nice talk over some supper. Thank you all again and Lonna will be on in the next couple of days to talk your ears off
