There is a ground on the radio bracket that holds the amp onto the frame. The plastic inner shield goes inbetween it. Check and be sure that that one is hooked up as it is a direct ground to the radio and subsiquently the entire communication system.

Good point Lutz,I know that I use it all when I'm stopping, including the engine. The front brakes are 60% of your braking power, I know guys that dont use them at all Your right about changing them too, can be done on the road in about 15 minutes Eyehook, I have done the chamfer on the brake edges, seems to keep them a bit more quiet. As far as performance, I'm not sure if it helps anything.

Would there be a Differance in Mufflers
Squidley replied to a topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
The thing with the R/K mufflers is how they hook up onto the RSV. I'm not sure on the letter configuration of the H/D's but it seems to me that you can only use pipes off a bagger with opposing side dual exhaust. I know it's probably not the answer you were looking for, but it would be some additional info anywho -
That is a good footnote Lutz, and I do agree with your logic on it. My only real issue with going to an organic pad is that they wear out so fast it isn't even funny. That may be the price we have to pay though

Sale Sale Sale!!!!! part Dux

The H/D pipes are not loud, they are a nice throaty sound when you get on them. When your just cruising, they aren'y much louder than stock. If they are set up for a Roadking or an Ultra then Yes, they should work. If you have a set of these pipes and want to try it, I'll give them a money back guarantee. If for some reason they dont work, I'll give you your money back as long as the kit is in the same shape it was when I sent it -
It's hard for me to hammer on you after you say something like that Cindy....but your absolutely right. There isn't another place like this on the net, I don't quite know what we have, but it is special. I too have made many, I hope, Lifelong friends here. I am amazed at this group and very proud to be one of the members here. You folks keep me humble...and thats not an easy feat.

Before this steamroller mows me down.....Lets take a minute and breathe. OK This has gotten really real, real fast, that being said..... I am game for this, in all seriousness, but Tim has to be comfortable doing this, and it might not be all of Tims choice. He is married and even though some of us might be cool with getting a Tat, his wife may have reservations, or any of a dozen other reasons. You all know me, I am VOICETEROUS (sp?) and thick skinned, I'm pretty much game for anything. That being said I dont want Tim to feel that we are pressuring him into this because I mentioned St. Judes. We can always come up with a different contest to raise money for St. Judes thst would involve a sacrifise on my behalf. Lets give Tim some breathing room and see how he feel about it. Please refrain from PMing him about doing this as I want this to be very cool with him and his family. ......Man I sure gotta be careful with what I say around you folks- 44 replies

Before this goes wild, let me say something here 1st. Tim has not agreed yet to do this, I am game, but Tim is the final say. I have been hoarsing him into it, but he has to feel comfortable enough to do it. I am teasing him all in fun, and I really would like to be able to do this. But before we go sellin' the farm....lets make sure Tim is onboard

Gene.....That would work for me, Tim....think about it, just think of how much money we could raise for St. Judes if we did get one When Hal and I did our headshave we raised over $2200- 44 replies
