Hey 1st genners, We have a member on the site that is having a problem. He's not real good with his english and he and I have been having corrispondence. He has a 1200 Venture and like many of you, is hating the braking system. Now I know on the 1300's that they can be upgraded with R1 calipers and better rotors. I have never dug deep enough into the 1200's to know what some of you fellas have done to upgrade the brakes on these particular models. Could some of you share any knowledge on this thread here and help steer this fella in the right direction, Thanks a bunch

Hard starting after 6 weeks

Just for what it's worth, Seafoam will do the same as Stabil, they are both fuel stabilizers. I also second (or 3rd) the plugs, the Venture will run like crap for no apparent reason and you change plugs and it goes away -
High school or College? Bring her, she'll never forget it

You have hit on a very good point Lutz, but there is a problem. In the USA there are several different "countries" that make up the borders of this nation. The south is very different from the west and different still from the north east, our election this month shows how VERY different this country is, and divided. There are many folks here that have never been to a function, whether it be a meet and eats or rally. I learn a lot of folks from functions, it helps me to moderate this site better when I know part of someones personality. It takes some folks a while to open up to, actually, strangers, which is what we all are until we meet one another face to face. The internet is a lousy means to discuss things, but I can have a political conversation face to face. It takes all the guess work out of how a question is being responded to. There is also a feeling on anonimity on a computer screen. I wish it was different, but there are some here that all they like to do is stir the pot and make folks fight, this is why we are quick to eliminate threads that go bad. I will say this right out here, now, I liked this site when it was small. That is not saying in any way that I dont like it now, but we had a lot more fun when there weren't 6000 of us. That is just a number, but it seems that we are so much more politically correct now a days. We used to rag the hell out of eachother and laugh all together, I dont see as much of that now. There are some that keep that spirit up, I try to, but I would love to see more people start M&E's in their areas. Put face time with eachother as it helps this group grow closer. There is no easy answers to any of it, most of us are like chickens with our heads cut off. I still love this place, I'm here everyday at some point. By keeping it drama free in some respects helps keep it that way. I'm off my soapbox sorry about the rambling on

It would be a hell of a riot if Lonna didn't make cheesecakes She'll come on about 3 weeks prior and ask folks what kind they would like to have. Those threads are always interesting, it would also be great to if Vinny and Sam were to bring a certain shell fish again

You southern folks have a mind of your own....so you tell me

Rooster, I have bought from that ebayer before and he sells them for all the Ventures. Just email him and I'm sure that he'll have everything you want. There isn't a difference in the wires, perhaps in the caps as far as the shape of them.
