If I do get back into it ( I was VERY invloved about 10 years ago) I would buy a Mattews Solocam. I had a Browning Midas and the axle ratio was long, but it was VERY smooth, I pulled 72 lbs with that one. I have been out of the archery loop for so long now I couldn't tell you what is good anymore, but I do like the Mattews

Curt, I do agree there are exceptions to the rule with everything. If I were stuck on the road and needed to do it, I would. Then get it to someplace for a more detailed fix. I have seen plugs destroy a tire and that is my reasoning for posting up my experiences, it's all good Ben, I understand where your coming from with the open part of the hole. There are many folks in the tire business and they do things a bit different with good results. I always put some vulcanizing glue into the hole from the outside of the tire to help seal up any exposed belting. I just post up advice here to err on the side of solid safe judgement. Will the tire be OK with a plug, probably so, but I hate to see it come down to a tire going out due to a plug....I know all about loosing a tire at highway speeds

I like the idea of it, I'm all about not releying on foreign oil if we can. This is the future, and as hard as it is for some of us (me included sometimes) to accept change on certain things, it needs to happen. Folks like us aren't going to buy this, but I will say that folks in the cities will probably go for it like gangbusters. Did you read the 0 to 60 times, 5 seconds....thats moving!

That happens to many of us, I know I have had a few times where I thought it was going over. I have only dropped 1 of my Ventures and that was in the front yard on some wet grass. Your not the only one my friend....welcome to the almost oopsie club

Always screws me up for a week or better, I know they have their excuses as to why we do it, but I would much rather see it done away with

I know your frustration "Mr. Chicago" I dont know if my bike not selling is a blessing or a curse There will be other bikes, just get rid of as much debt as you can and it will eventually turn around. If you need some help getting to Maintenance Day let me know, I WILL come and pick you up if thats what it takes....all the best my friend.

I will be one of the black sheep here, I wouldn't and here's why I say that. When you install a plug in any tire (Car or bike) you help to destroy the belts inside the casing. On a car with steel belted tires in a northern zone salt will infiltrate in there and corrode the steel around where the plug was inserted. Ever since I managed a tire store I NEVER install plugs in anything, do it right and put a patch on the inside if your trying to milk more miles out of the tire, you only have 2 of them on your bike

I have to agree with Lutz, if not much of the acid spilled out then top it off and try to charge it. If it was dry I wouldn't waste my time as even if it did charge up you would have a false sence of security. Dont need a bike battery puking while your 300 miles from home

You'll more than likely get many responces, here is mine.... Dont waste your money on a Silverstar, I had one and wasn't impressed very much. It's slightly (read very little) better than stock. My choice would be to get a PIAA Xenon bulb, and not a blue coated bulb. The Xenon gas makes it burn brighter and thats what will be going in my '08 in the near future...hope this helps some.

Lewis, thanks for the limelight on the seat I'll also add that if the bid goes over $60 I will kick in $15 towards the shipping of the seat...hows that for incentive

Now right there folks is one of the most unselfish acts that I have heard offered. Only a 2nd genner would put forth the olive branch like that to make sure a 1st genner could be in the fun....way to go Ron

Puts somewhere around 40K a year on his bikes, he's in Texas DeBerry east Texas as he likes to call it. It's good to hear the gearheads talking... My favorite car was a '67 Barracuda fastback, it was a formula S model with a 340 and tri power, Muncie 4 speed and a Lakewood scatter shield, Dana 410 rear end and was a handful to say the least. My best at the strip was an 11.9 I still cry when I think about that car
