They definitely are 2 of the best folks we have here. I have called Randy a friend for 9 years now. He has helped me so many times with technical advise and met me at the Ohio border to bring me a bike I purchased from a member in Tennessee. I'm glad y'all were able to spend some time with them. Had it not been for Gunboat and his offer to stay with him in Houston when we were looking to relocate south, we would have been in Tennessee probably around the Cleveland area by Chattanooga.

If folks want to split it up, we are having our annual spring MD down here in Waller Texas at Kregs house. It's going to be on the 29th of March and were set up to do everything that was available at Don's. If folks want to do a North/South MD split this year that might be a viable option....

Something that I notice with those style of replacement bulbs is they dont use the headlights, or any lights, reflector very efficiently. The reflector, which projects the beam of light fwd and is where a lot of your illumination comes from. The bulb can be super bright, but if it doesn't project a good beam, or swath of light then it's useless.....

I have installed the audivox system as well and would use it again if the need arose.

I am highly doubtful that 1st gen pipes will work without MAJOR modifications. I have a set of 2nd gen pipes off a '99 if your interested.

Any quality automotive green antifreeze will work in the Ventures. I always do as the others and mix it with distilled water. I dont buy the 50/50 as your really loosing money. I buy a gallon of 100% antifreeze, 1 gallon of distilled water and mix them to 50/50. Twice the product for just slightly over half the price...

I tried the Kevlar on a 1st gen and wasn't happy with how they felt. They didn't seem to have the stopping power I get with say the EBC HH. If it was organic or Kevlar, I would have to say organic.

Make SURE they grease the hub, the fingers and all while they have the rear wheel off. The driveshaft should also be regreased. If you dont know the last time the rearend lube was changed then I would have them do that as well....
