  1. Alan, It was great having you with us this weekend, 'specially when Freebird got us lost in his own state Glad to hear you and Mel made it home safe, looking forward to seeing you again soon
  2. Your the one that deserves the thanks Don. Every year so far it has grown exponantially and you keep saying we'll do it next year. Thank you to both you and Eileen for allowing us to invade your home and share a part of your life with us. Some folks will never know how hard everyone in your family works to pull this off, Dylan, Tony and Terry included. We had a great weekend and just for the record, this is the spring rally and this weekend is the biggest rally that VR.org has ever had. You folks are the best and I am so glad that Heather, Lonna and I were able to attend. Thanks again for all you do for us Don
  3. Bob....you walked away from it, it's just steel and oil and thats replaceable. Glad to hear it wasn't any worse, it was great to see you both again and you'll get the '09 back to where it needs to be, good to see it isn't worse.
  4. Good to see you and Beth there Randy Thank you for my "Gift".....it will be consumed in good health my friend

  6. Thanks folks, as soon as I know more I or Lonna will pass it on to all of you, Thanks again.
  7. I just bought one with 102000 miles on it, I'm not concerned with the mileage, I think that translates to about 160000 Kms Buy it if it's been maintained well there will be no issue.
  8. Send them to my email and I will resize them and put them up weldman333@yahoo.com
  9. Folks, While at Maintenance Day Lonna got a call from Kenny Branton, Kbran here on the site. He's not having a good go of this foot situation he suffered a few weeks back when his bike fell on his ankle. This has become much more complicated and Kenny now has a Blood Clot in his lung. He is currently in the hospital and is being treated for this with Coumadin. He is doing as well as can be expected, but asks if you folks would say a prayer for him. He probably wont be able to get on the site for a while, but if you would just take a second to talk with the man upstairs for him I know it would help to ease his and many of our minds. For those of you that dont know much about Kenny, he was Lonna and my savior when we had out accident in January of '08 outside of Baton Rouge. He came right to the hosptal and stayed with us during the entire process. Then had his daughter-in-law come and pick us up and took us to her house where she gave up her bed for us. We went and picked up the bike and he drove us and the bike up to Mean Dogs house in Mississippi where we put the bike in our trailer for our trip back home. They dont came any better than Kenny or his family, please say a prayer for him, Lonna and I owe a lot to this man and his family.

  14. Hey Folks, Here it is, D-day, so to speak and our time for weight loss is down to hours. I want to thank all the folks that grabbed this by the horns and pledged to loose weight or donate towards the goal. What I am asking now is for some other folks to donate towards the weight loss. We have less than 10 people that have pledged monies towards our weight loss goal, which probably wont quite be met I dont want to sound ungrateful, and believe me I know how tight money is right now, but if you could find it in your heart and wallet to donate even .03 per pound it really will help. If you have been to St. Judes or last year at Ronald McDonald house you'll know how much this is needed. We will accept money all the way up to and even after the weigh in, if you can help out, I ask that you please do. Thank you again to all involved and the effort that was and is being put into this Here is a link to the ongoing thread http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=31174

  19. I was thinking of this a few weeks ago, $9 a can here so I wont be using it anymore. The B-12 Chemtool is good stuff, been around for many years and is what I am using now. I know all about the supply and demand thing, but Seafoam seems to have just gotten greedy...shame on them
  20. It's funny that you mention that, I was thinking of trying to make that happen...perhaps it's 1 step closer now
