  1. Congrats to her I was wanting to call you and see how she did, great job Sue and a very nice looking bike, can't wait to see it
  2. Gary, Let me know when you'll be down in Texas and we'll both go to the Brazos river and officially get baptized Good seeing you and Mary yesterday too
  3. John, The "springs" on the 1300's is a disc and not individual springs. I personally have never heard of anyone installing 2 stock spring plates on a 1300 engine. I have aways purchased the kit from PCW racing with a new spring plate and removing the half friction disc in the back of the clutch pac with a full one. The PCW kit has a stronger plate that is a harder material with more spring pressure that doesn't fade. I tend to be heavy handed with all my bikes and I have installed the PCW kit into 3 of the 7 Ventures I have owned and been extremely happy with the results. You might want to think about that route instead of doubling up 2 stock plates
  4. How about 'Toes" ?
  5. You have my address, atleast for another month....send it to me!
  6. ....and we wont be in Houston yet, we'll have to wait for the part dux of this one
  7. Pics are in her profile Brad
  8. Get ahold of Freebird and have him check into it, he'll be the one to make the change.
  9. I'll never kiss and tell, we'll except maybe about you...snookums
  10. I need a 3X max, maybe 2X depending upon the cut
  11. I'd wear it like the yellow ribbons until our buddy comes home from over seas. I'm quite secure in my manhood and have no problem wearing pink. Besides I'll wear it around Riderduke and when we go back to Pizza Hut in Oberlin I'll make that waitress think David and I have something going on
  12. I digress...I'll be good and I'll wear a PINK one with pride
  13. Did I say that I was going to buy a shirt
  14. It's a matter of comfort, if your inseamed challenged you might consider a lowering kit and have some air in the shock. The bike will respond better with some air in the shock and be safer to manuver if you need to act quickley.
  15. Yeah, Right sure they are coming....we've heard this song before
  16. No worries man, it was 4:45 until I got laid off, who know what time it will be when I get to Houston
  17. Cool Beans! Nothing like a bit of wind in your hair to clear the worries away
  18. Even if you take both baffle plates out, it still wont be like strait pipes. I would start my bike up outside at 4:45am and just leave enough choke on to keep it at about 1700rpms. Ease into the gears slowly while accelerating and my neighbors never woke up, I ask them if the hear me. I think you'll be alright with the sound, they really dont bark until you get into the throttle heavy.
  19. Mike, I am 99% sure that there are no baffles in the fuel tank, I have never seen any in as many times as I have had the float gauge out, I think your safe
  20. Our ride today never got above 65 degrees, Fall is here and it's way early. Hate to say it out loud here, but i'm glad were heading south in a month
  21. Thats about right if it's an "S" model, a standard would be a bit high.
  22. Have a great time with the Ambassador, and send him north with a song
  23. SYBIL
  24. Clay, Another thing to think about is if the carb sync is way off the bike wont idle right. the idle screw is on the left side of the bike, between #1 and 2 carbs. It's kinda hidden if you dont know where it's at, clockwise turn to increase the rpm's.
  25. Sounds good my friend, let us know where you'll be and we'll come to you, no worries
