  1. OOOOOHHH he's hittin' below the belt Russ
  2. Pretty trick looking trailer, I would hazard a guess at the value to be somewhere near $2K, if you could pick it up for a grand or less I would think that would be a pretty good deal.
  3. Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah, and the shirts for my approval, and Squidley Shut Up!!! Boo Hoo Hooo :rotfl:
  4. The Avons are 50 lb tires, so I try to keep the rear as close to that as I can. I know there will be guys argueing that you go by what the manual says, but I go by what the tire mfgr says and keep my tires at max pressure. That also keeps the tire at it's max load capacity.
  5. Find one of our members locally and make sure the carbs are in sync. That can make a huge difference in performance, if things are all caddywhompus (always wanted to use that in a sentence)
  6. Thanks McBrush....I have been telling people that all along
  7. Joe, I had mine done by a fella I know that does custom leatherwork. It really wasn't bad as far as price went, about $60. But when you look at how long it lasts then it's cheap compared to those "Chrome" ones that last a year and you replace them at $30 a crack. If there is enough interest I could contact him before we skip this state, and see if he could get us a good price as he already has done 2 of them for me.
  8. Sounds like perhaps the tire is cupping, also make sure that your rear differential is topped off with gearlube.
  9. Joe, Just a thought, I have had a couple of mine covered in leather. They really look good and you actually want them to age as it gives them more character
  10. Happy Anniversary Bob and Becky!!
  11. There went my quiet time
  12. All the best my friend, we'll be anxious to hear how it all turns out
  13. I am anxious to hear how it turns out, I didn't even get a chance to try that Hooch
  14. As always Earl...very nice work, it's good to still see craftsman are alive and well in this country
  15. I personally think his CRS kicked in
  16. There's no doubt that it could be done, what we may want to try is getting a set of pipes off an RSV and see if we can modify them to fit well. Biggest obstacle that I can think of right off my head is the angles that the pipes come out at. If we can get the 2 bikes side by side, I'm sure several of us could brainstorm and figure something out. I agree that the collector on the 1st gens is the biggest pain there is with working on the bikes.
  17. If I'm not mistaken Sunman and some other Ontarians were on the Dragon Sept 21st ish....Good shot
  18. Thanks for all your efforts Lewis, you spend so much of your time planning the events and making things happen, I speak for many when I say we really appreciate it. All the best to you my friend....and no I dont want anything, send it all on to the others, just Thanks

  21. I would be more than happy to do that for him...you on the other hand
  22. It moves the rear brake control up top so that the rear brakes can be applied by hand instead of foot as Annie has some foot issues.
  23. Byron, When you post a thread or a responce to one, when you scroll down to where you submit your responce, there will be a bar that says manage attachments. Click on that and it will bring up a window which will allow you to browse your computer and upload pics from your computer to the site. Just be forewarned if the pics are too large in file size you wont be able to do it. There is a testing area in the forum where you can practice. If you run into problems PM me and we'll get you squared away
  24. That looks like a very good quality system, I'll be interested in hearing how it works out for you
