I dont know why he hasn't just made a floating bridge
-
All the best to you Karl, I know you desperately need this, your in our thoughts my friend
-
I did that with him about 2 years ago, drove to his place and spent the weekend there to fix some issues. Unfortunately we both had been too busy as of lately and now I'm here in Texas. The bike just needs a bit of time put into it, but I totally understand his frustration.

Not bad looking for 7 bills, I know you can make it run. BTW I have that lower rear Yamaha reflector if you need one
-
OOOHHHHH...did he just punk slap you in front of several thousand bikers!
-
Probelm with it is Russ doesn't have the time or expertise to get the gremlins gone. I know his bike could be a good runner, it has just sat for a lot of it's life. It really isn't a bad machine, just needs a little TLC. I actually told him to post the issues he was having with it and be upfront so someone knows what they are getting. Nothing like the surprises that happen when you buy a used bike....yep I know what I'm talking about there

AWSOME! If any of the folks reading this thread haven't gone to an airshow, especially one with the Blue Angels in it, your missing out on a great piece of life. It's going on again today at Ellinton field in SE Houston

For you my friend...there is no other way Looking forward to the pics, your probably going to make Yammer cry too as it's, BLUE!

For the most part the royales have the CLASS suspension system, the factory Radio and CB, and cruise control, other than that, they are both pretty much the same. BTW we went to the Wings over Houston air show featuring the Navy's Blue Angels. It was a perfect day of zero clouds and 77 degrees

Give us a shout and we'll come over and help you brea...I mean unload things in the new digs

Somebody mention a M&E in Houston BTW Gunboat and I were taking care of some business a few days ago and went to a NAPA auto parts store on Louetta I believe it was and they also carry the 44K in stock.

Good to see you post Tony and appreciate all that Don has created for us all. It's been a dream of mine since I was a child to come to Austrailia, I hope I can make that happen before I die...all the best mate

No power to bike
Squidley replied to Bill Feehan's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Gary.... I just gotta say that that is one hell of a signature at the bottom of your profile ....and Bill, just like the others said, Eck hit every major point to start off with. -
Your a man that likes to live on the edge Dano, Rose is gonna like that '87 a lot better than the '84. More comfy backrest and stock floorboards (you did good on the fabbed ones though) Looking forward to seeing the pics...BTW is it a royale??

As long as that bike runs good and isn't all busted up it's a pretty fair deal. Seeing it's in Canada and I know how inflated the price is up there it's a screaming deal

Tire change question
Squidley replied to bobcat's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I can appreciate you wanting to do your own work and save some cash, but I would ATLEAST take it into your local tire store and have them break the bead on it. You dont need to be marring the finish of the rim or hurting yourself to save $5 on trying to break a bead down without the right tools -
Ever seen a yellow XVZ1200?
Squidley replied to Sandbagger's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Looks Good Bobby, I have always wanted a Yellow bike, just to say I had one
