  2. Thanks y'all, a blast from the past that's for sure. Ecks 1 st picks from '06 Kevin's is from '06 ad well in Ft Collins CO if I'm not mistaken when I delivered my '86 to Jack Thorpe. Eddie I want to say we were in Owasso in that pic, that was a while ago....good memories for sure!
  3. I can't thank all of you folks involved in this enough. The best played plans always seem to get waylayed along the path, but y'all came through. I appreciate all you folks and look forward to taking it behind the "Black" '02 RSV.....thank you all again.
  4. I have been Mike got almost 3K on it in a months time. I would lone to go to TN but it doesn't look good at this time :-(
  5. I just bought my '02 with 55K on the clock for $4200 0.02
  6. Not a bad looking bike PUC, get after it and get over there to take a peek. I can tell you that you'd probably be very surprised at how much more comfortable a ride it is for you and your bride 0.02
  7. Right back at you Peg, you and Ron have a great day with your family
  8. That little gal there, cost's a WHOLE lot more than ANY motorcycle ever built....
  9. Doug, We need to know what bike you have (1st or 2nd gen) so we can steer you in the right direction. If you have a 2nd gen there are a few aftermarket ones available like Krome works. One of our own members (who is as much a master fabricator as I've ever seen) makes one for the 2nd gen, here the link in the classifieds. http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=3919&title=rsv26amp-3b-rstd-trailer-hitch&cat=24 I have used this style hitch on my G2's and have had zero issues with them.
  10. Your such a Boob Dan!
  11. I'm still humble Bobby, just glad that I saw it and had a little time to help him out. Barry, Thanks for the props, but I don't need anymore awards. I have been in those spots and know that oh sheet feeling. Paying it forward as my Grandpa's used to say
  12. WOW!
  13. John, A little paranoia is ok, it's your life on the line with 2 wheels. Better to err in the side of safety than to loose a rear wheel on the highway, been there, done that, still here to tell about it
  14. Glad to hear you got after it and made it happen Owen
  15. I have owned and modified several 1st gens with the hot slow start issue. The #1 thing that I did was on my '86 that I still have and that was put a 2nd gen starter on it. I have the stock size cables on it and a Deka battery and it spins it just as fast hot as it does cold....
  16. Owens daughter sent me some pics from her phone. The retaining bar which holds the adapter to the bike is bent. I have talked with him about what I would attempt, but here are some pics so y'all can give some ideas as well...
  17. I'm working with Owen right now, he's going to have his daughter text me some pics to see exactly what were looking at.
  18. Can you put up a couple pics of it so we can see it a bit better. I believe I have a spare rear axle shaft if you need one.
  19. Happy Belated Birthday Ann
  20. Happy Belated Birthday John!!!
  21. Is there anyone out there that has a good rear rotor for an RSV from maybe a trike conversion. I need one for the 02 that I just picked up, the one that's on it is toast.
  22. Nice job Mark, sometimes it's easier to just get a few folks together and make things happen. We do it here in Texas all the time, looking forward to seeing the pics
  23. I'll be doing the same thing on my '02 as Bert has pictured
  24. Yes....you should be concerned!
