  1. He tried Bobbie, remember that waitress in Pizza Hut in Oberlin this year at MD?
  2. I put the same set in my '89 and for the money they work ok.
  3. Dale, You can run the bike on a stand, Carbon Ones with the legs works great for that. I wouldn't go crazy with the speed, but I have spun the drivetrain on a stand. I think I would be looking at pivot points on the linkage like was mentioned. Check the oil level too as I know when my bikes were getting close to their oil changes they liked to start shifting harder
  4. Cool Beans!! Bobbie will do right by us....and are you bringing the ball gag with the whip
  5. Only other option is to see if a member close by would let you use their display for trouble shooting. Only other thing I could think of is the battery screwing up or the connections both on the battery and where they are attached onto the bike
  6. Lots of pics please Jeff
  7. Those can be bought at Ikea stores, Infonaut on the site here bought one for me while we were in Kitchener at the '08 rally when he went to Toronto.
  8. This website....no lie.
  9. Happy Anniversary to you both my friend! BTW I can't wait to get all the details of the Pumpkin patch from Eileen when we see you folks next
  10. Hey Kreg, Good on ya for the save with your new friend...lets just hope he's not into Skunks like Buddy

  12. Do I suspect some sibling rivalry there buddy?
  13. Were at my Dads in Roseville right now, and we may be in Novi on the 2nd....we'll keep you updated
  14. Also with the headlight, check the bulb for a broken filament on the low beam. I had one do the same thing on an '86 I had and it turned out the bulb was bad.
  15. You CAN'T blame it on me, I took it back up north here And thanks for having my back buddy, I'll have to keep that in the ole memory bank for later consideration
  16. Good on Ya Randy....keep it going my friend
  17. Standing by to stand by
  18. Damn Buddy! I think the bubble wrap idea is spot on, PLEASE be careful on the road this week. I'd hate to have to come down from Michigan and wrap you myself. May this be all the problems you have for '10 and your getting them out of the way early
  19. Merry Christmas my friend, have a great day
  20. My family back in Michigan....I dont need anything else
  21. Finding the words to comfort and console is a daunting task, but we all try in our own way. The shock of loosing 2 of your good friends will wear on you, and for that I am truly sorry. I have always believed that we are here to learn a lesson or assist others in learning their lessons. Once our lessons are completed, the maker brings us home. There is a lot on your mind, life is speeding up for you and we all know that. Know that we are here for you, on today, on the day that Christ was born, we send our love and comfort to your heart my friend. May only the good times you shared with these 2 men flood your memories, and you remember how they LIVED and not when they went home...all the best to you my friend.
  22. Every day....doesn't everyone
  23. FWIW Every one of my Ventures 1st and 2nd gen have been cold blooded. All of them have had a different ways of warming up, just the nature of the beast I figure. I wouldn't be overly concerned, but would make sure that the carbs are synced and the float levels are properly adjusted
  24. When was the last Fluid Change?
  25. Tom & Vicki, It was great to be able to spend time with you 2 as we brought back the '89 from Vermont. I appreciate all the chop busting between us as it lets me know how good our friendship has become. I couldn't agree with your sentiments more as there are so many people here that have enhanced our lives. I wish the very best to both of you and all of the friends we have here, may '10 be the best year for all of us
