    No, it's not normal....Kinda like Kbay You'll have to get into the unit and do some real good cleaning. Many times the buttons will stick over time and need to be flushed out. I have also seen those same units go bad, start with the easy and then troubleshoot further.

    I was in the Sarahs battle group during the 1st Gulf War, she's a good old ship, kinda dates me now that they are looking to X's her out

    The 1300 1st gen Ventures did have the vanity light and mirror stock on all the Royale models. The 2nd gens come with no light and thats why I added what I did to mine. They work well and work on every bike with a trunk on them

    That actually looks like a factory color combo as the striping is spot on for a Venture of that vintage. Only problem is here in the states that color was never offered so it must be a Canadian thing. Enjoy your new toys and I hope you get out of the deep freeze and are able to put some miles on them
