Thanks for all the info folks, I am going to send an email to some of the top line mfgrs and ask what actually is the difference in there bottom line knives as apposed to the top line ones. We went out looking today and found Henkles and Wustof's @ Sears and Pennys for around $100....made in China, along with the Chicago cutlery. I dont necessarily want to buy knives made in China, I dont want to ever buy another set of knives again after these ones. Keep the comments coming, I'm learning a lot about knives that I didn't know

Hey Folks, I have a perhaps odd question to ask all of our members here. Lonna and I just signed a renters agreement on a doublewide MH with a 2 car garage...Yay for us It's all furnished with washer/dryer, stove, fridge yada yada yada. We now need to get some items for the house as we left quite a few things with Lonnas sister back at our old home in Michigan. The 1 thing we really need is going to be a good set of culinary knives. I'm not talking about the stuff you buy at Walmarts, this will be the last set of knives we buy. I'm no chef, but I do know there are good knive companies out there like Henckel and such. These are professional knives and that is what we are looking for. We have a great many members here with varied back grounds. What I would like is if you folks that are in the know or are culinary professionals (or anybody for that fact) could suggest a set of good quality knives that will last our lifetime. Price is somewhat of an issue, but I dont mind paying for quality and I'm thinking somewhere in the $300 or less price range. Do appreciate all you help with this one

Mike, Good to see you back on, and if you can buy that bike for $1900....run to it, we can help you along with it no sweat.

Pick, I have seen the PVC used and haven't heard of it letting go. Copper is a great alternative if you have money to burn. I would go with black iron pipe with threaded ends, you can Tee it off at intervals you want and elbow the ends. Put quick connects on it for plugging in your hoses and I can guarantee you, you wont blow it up with any home air compressor.

Patrick, Are you talking about the space right behind the radiator and in front of the fwd cylinders? If you can get a few close up shots and post them we might be able to come up with something.
-
How long have you had the bike? What kind of miles are on it? Have you had any maintenance done to it? Do you know when the last carb sync was done? A little more info could help us possibly track it down or narrow some options out...welcome to the forum.

Greg, I dont have an answer for you on this one, but wanted to get it back up top. You may want to contact Owen here in Houston as he has lowered his RSV in both the front and rear, he might have some insight for you.

It's under warranty...take it back to the dealer and have them fix it -
I'll tell you Ian, those are some of the most beautiful shades of green I have ever seen in those pics. Ireland would definitely be a place I would like to see before the bucket list is complete

Without going on a rant myself here, I would politely take the bills to my inlaws and ask them 1 time to take care of it seeing they didn't have control over their dog. I would then, if they didn't pay the bill, use the leverage of your wifes enhancements over them through her. You spent monies that were going to go for endowments keeping the dog from dying. I wont even touch the tip of the iceburg of how I really feel about people that dont have control of their animals. My tounge is on fire now so I think I'll stop and leave this post with that
