  10. Brian, This might not be what you want to hear, depending upon wht style of Kuryakyn grips you have I would get rid of them. I had a set of the Iso Grips on 1 of my '99's and it broke in half! I just dont like the quality of some of the Kury stuff. As far as the grip, many put dishwashing liquid mix on it and it slides on pretty easily, when it heats up the soap dries and actually acts like glue. I know others will chime in here with other "Recipies"
  11. Teresa, If I'm not mistaken your RSTD is a 4 pipe setup, so you would have to swap the entire pipe system with an RSV or later TD with the 2 into 1 pipe setup on each side. You could then install a set of R/K mufflers on that, but I dont know where the mounting points would be. They probably aren't the same as an RSV.
  12. Good to hear from you Alan, glad you folks enjoyed your trip. Be safe out there, I know just what it's like to be in the big rig pounding the miles.

  14. Mike, Try this thread K bran posted pics of the one on your old '86 that I sold him http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=26864&highlight=TCI+airbox
  15. Mike, ALL radiators are the same basic build, this one just happens to be a bit smaller. It can be repaired or rebuilt just like any other automotive one. Take it to a Rad shop and have them go through it

  18. Excuse me David, this bike is in the USA, NOT Canada But hey, your looking for a lower mileage 1st gen, and this is a 1200cc so it's more of a Hotrod....why dont you bid on it
  19. Mike, Yes cut the back tab off so you can push the TCI more forward on the front of the airbox. It is a tight fit but it will work, I have done half a dozen like that. Give me a call if you get to a spot where you need a voice
  20. Glad that you were able to get it Mark, is it everything it was presented to be?

    Dreaming

If I'm not mistaken it's a Tomahawk (sp?) with a V10 Viper motor. I have to believe it would be fairly unruly to ride, but I know it's gonna be fast
