Dave #1, We had a great time, especially on a school night! It's good to only have a couple of members around as you can get lots of work done. If you get too many it's counter productive sometimes, we'll mold you into a fine destro....er mechanic for these bikes. I have to say that those HF trailers are a very reasonable priced unit. It's frame is totally welded together and just a bit of assembly and you have a great unit to pull behind the bike. Dinner was good and we appreciated spending it with you folks. Took us an hour to get home from the restraunt doing 70 to 75 on 59 and it's right at 63 miles. We'll get with you next week and make sure those bearing are greased right with the good stuff. C ya soon

Dave, If I'm not mistaken your '01 has the rubbers under it, I believe the '99 and '00 were the 2 years that didn't have it.

The date didn't happen on Sunday, so there isn't any tidbits there. Dave will string y'all along accordingly and sing when the time is right. He did see her and thats all I'm going to say. Jean & Earl, Thank you for filling us in, I had heard something a few days ago and haven't had the time to call you folks. I suffer from back pain also L4 L5 and I know what he is going through. Please if there is anything at all that we can help with, let us know. All the best to both of you as your in this as much as he is. REST and play by the docs rules, it sucks, but it will make things easier later.

Dave, Make sure that the exhaust headers are super clean. Use some emory cloth to shine them up. I have also used a large flathead screwdriver to tweak the ends open. If you want I could shoot down to your place and give you a hand if you like. -

What a Weekend!! I can't tell you how happy Lonna and I are and were from this weekend. I appreciate all of you that were able to make it and show up for the shindig. For me it started Friday @ 3pm when I pulled into the driveway to Boomer, Kenny, Beth and Jeff and lasted till about 9:30 last night when we said our goodbyes to Brad and Rhonda. I knew my face was gonna hurt for all the smiling and laughing that I knew was going to come with this. Mother nature played very nice with us as we got a break from the heat and it stayed just cloudy enough to keep the sun from totally cooking us. With the 3 nieces and nephews we had 35 people in attendance, and I couldn't have asked for a better time. As y'all know Brad and Rhonda snuck right past the border and down here to Texas. Much too short a time for our liking, but we'll take time with our Northern friends anyway we can get it. Lonna and I both had tears in our eyes when Rhonda made her sneak attack on me 1st then Lonna in the house, can't describe the joy we both felt. Majority of the food got ate, all but 2 pieces of cheesecake are left and lots of memories that I will have with me for a long, long time. Thank you again to all that showed and bore gifts. I dont get melancholy often but I will say that you folks are our best friends. I appreciate all of you taking time out of your busy lives and coming over to share our house with us. Brad and Rhonda...you know you are our best friends and we both love you more than you can imagine. Thank you for the excellent surprise of showing up, you have made our year so far. We'll do it again, have another get together and have lots more "Stories" to tell. Gunboat, once again we are in your debt for pulling this off, we love you brother I'll work on getting some pics up soon, Thank you all again for making this an awsome weekend
