  1. One of our members from Michigan has a plum crazy purple RSV, I'll bet it was him
  2. Cool Beans! Looks like y'all had a great time.
  3. In the units like the carbtune, which is what I have, there are restriction tubes in them to help keep the slides from bouncing. I would be willing to bet that your issue is arising from not having them in your vacuum lines....0.02
  4. Russell, Very good to see you here posting, we were all very concerned with what was happening, albeit not knowing the severity. Your a tough old bird, and have danced with the devil many times. I'll send the good vibes to you and the family for having to put up with you, we love you brother, keep fighting the good fight.
  5. Got you covered Shane
  6. Joe, I'll do it through mine weldman333@yahoo.com
  7. Very nice, I'll have to make a trek up there to see that at some point.
  8. It is the most important role to be our brothers keeper, I will not fail on my watch.
  9. Joe, What color do you want, or 1 of each color?
  10. BTW here is a pic of the sticker
  11. Ok Folks, Seeing there is a growing demand for them, I'll get some more made. Right now I only have 2 Silver and 12 Black. The 2 Silver's are already spoken for, but I can ship Black ones out. I'll work on getting to a printer I know down here as these were made when we still lived in Michigan. I should have more silvers by the end of the week. I'll have to see on the pricing as it's been 6 years since these were produced. I'll honor the price on the remaining Black ones until they are sold out. It shouldn't much more of an increase in price with the new ones, I'll get after it and let y'all know. If you want just a black one, PM me with your info and we'll get after getting it to you.
  12. Gary, We missed y'all too, sorry we weren't able to hook up with you folks. I saw the pics and know y'all had a good time with Tom and all the misfits. We'll work on seeing you 2 when we get back up to Michigan, be safe my friend.
  13. Give me a couple of days and I'll get after getting them out to y'all.
  14. Nice job Herb, I had no doubts about your ability to do it.
  15. Your my hero Herb! I'm hoping to do them both at the end of April when I get laid off, I'll have a little more time to do it then.
  16. We still have some stickers left, I'm not sure how much it will take to get them into the frozen north. If you want a couple we can make that happen. We have black and silver ones, let me know what color.
  17. Thanks everyone, it's somewhat official as I have accepted the position of Commander, now my 2nd job starts and it's already been going haywire! Life is good though, I like challenges and I know this will be a good one. I'll do my best to peek my head in here more often and stir the pot every once in a while, y'all take care of the place while I'm out saving the vets :-)
  18. Hey Y'all, I have been thinking about the site for sometime now, and with the unfortunate news of long time member and good friend Eddie Happ passing away, I wanted to post. Some of you older members know who I am, and that I have been absent from the site. Let me assure you that everything is fine in our household, Lonna and I are doing fine. Life has taken a different turn for Lonna and I, me more so than her. Some of you are aware that I belong to The Combat Vets Motorcycle Association. It's a group that I whole heartedly love and agree with what they do for our vets. I also belong to my local VFW chapter, post 1839 in Cleveland Texas. Last year I was elected Sr. Vice Commander of this post. This has taken any free time that I thought I had. This year I will be taking command of this post and this will basically become my 2nd job. I am looking forward to doing this, as priorities in my life have directed me to help all of our service members, combat or not, to getting the help and resources they need to assist with their transition into civilian life. This is a labor of love with me, and something that inside I feel I need to do. The VFW as a whole is dying as many of it's older members are passing on. It is up to my generation of combat vets to help with the younger vets get back to some sort of normalcy in their lives. I just wanted to post up incase anyone who might be wondering "What happened to Squidley?" knew that we are still around and kicking. Y'all be careful out there as the weather is getting ready to break and folks just aren't used to seeing us. BTW, if you can afford to give any help to your local VFW and Combat Vets Assn, please do so, we are doing a lot of good things for all the warriors that protect us everyday.
  19. I just received the word from Don that Eddie has passed. Very sad day, Eddie was one of the original members of VRO and a good and trusted friend. At a loss for words right now, can't hardly believe that he's gone. Eddie was only a couple years older than myself and really had a plan going on for his early retirement. I wish his family and all his friends here on the site the peace and comfort they need....just numb right now.
  20. All the best with your decision brother, although I believe you know what to do. None of us are getting any younger and time with family and friends usually starts trumping money. I know you will make the right choice for you and Eileen.
  21. Nice work Barry, a satisfying feeling knowing you were able to accomplish it. It's on my bucket list to get done at some point.
  22. I use the Deka's and love them. I know Skid uses the Interstate, and others as well, but I have not had a lot of luck with Interstates in general. The Deka's seem to have the best CCA's they are right at about $100.
  23. In Heaven (yeah 2 words)
  24. For comfort and safety, 1st 3 things I would get for the bike would be the passing lights, Kuryakyn offset hwy pegs and backrest (Utopia or Diamond R). Then accessories that would be useful for touring like a trunk rack to hold an additional storage bag. Then safety chrome of your choice, if your doing your own maintenance on your bike Carbon One's lift adapter is a must have, I have 2 of them and use them all the time with my motorcycle jack....0.02
  25. Sending good vibes and prayers to our brother here. All the best in your battle with C, we have your 6 should you need us.
