  1. OK folks I am going to bump this 1 more time. We will have a price on the whole package by weeks end and if you want separate patches speak up on this thread!
  2. Put the boots to him Kenny!!
  3. Chief, You know the door is always open for you and everyone else...come west young man! (well maybe not so much young)
  4. Awww man Jeff...we had him fooled all these years!
  5. Not at all, it plugs into the headlight harness and acts just like the regular headlight. I dont think I have heard anyone installing a switch on it ....so when are you ordering it
  6. Dave, I can tell you that the HID is night and day difference on any bike it's put on. I did Boomers when he was here for our open house and I was amazed at the light it threw out when it was dark. I saw better with his 1 headlight than I did with Kbrans 3....just pull the trigger and I'll help you install it
  7. Folks...I hate to burst your bubble, but Lonna is taking this year off from making cheesecakes. Last year 14 were made by her, her daughter Heather and Kim Englehart (Cecdoo's better half) She is going to take this year off from doing it and just enjoy MD and relax. Iffin you want cheesecake....your gonna have to come to Texas
  8. You have my cell #....you should have called!!
  9. Your probably saw a Wagner Grill in the Black, I would highly recommend Steve's product. He's one of our members here and makes and excellent grill cover, here is his link http://www.wagnercustomproducts.com
  10. Should have just split the fairing and pulled the light, about 10 extra minutes work and no cussing
  11. Good to see you back on a Star again Joe, enjoy that new ride
  12. Carma is a good thing Jim.....paying it forward, life is good
  13. There you go Todd, a genuine set of chicken lips....whodathunktit!
  14. Those are rarer than chicken lips, good luck in finding a set, ebay would be the only place I would know to even try to look.
  15. The Diamond R is a bolt on, goes in front of the passenger seat using the 2 bolt mounts that hold the seat onto the frame. It is a excellent backrest as I have had one on my RSV's in the past. Allen and Patti are great folks to deal with and donate a lot to this site, I fully recommend them. The Utopia is a nice backrest also, and this is the one that you might have to drill to install. I like the fact also that Diamond R's matches the pillowtop seats perfectly. Tpalshadow....this is for the 2nd gens, your limited to try and find a backrest for your 1st gen on ebay or possibly a member here. You also might want to consider looking for a Travelcade seat with a built in backrest. I do have one of those that needs to be recovered if your interested.
  16. The '89 I have that Grey Ghost bought from me is that color. Actually the '89 and 90 are identical as Dave P has Kevins old bike and they are twins....nice looking scoot
  17. I know where thats at....we'll be there
  18. Brother I am so envious of you 2! Have a great trip and we'll catch up with you along the way somewhere

I know what it is....and I aint tellin'
  20. Les, Where are you located in Texas, were north of Houston and I'd be glad to help you if you like.
  21. It's warming up here in Texas too Vin, mid 90's and I know that isn't considered hot here yet Looking forward to seeing the pics of your bike once it's done, color sounds cool
  22. Your only other option, from what I am reading, is look into a Russell daylong seat. They are custom made to fit the rider and they are made to your size and weight. I am with most of the others here in the fact that I loved the pillow top seats. I have ridden several several hundred miles on my RSV's and although I was tired, was never as wiped out as you seem to be experiencing. Best of luck with the quest

    SOLD!!!

I think I hear a Valkyrie Interstate calling your name, get one so I can come take it for a ride and see how I like it
  24. Looking forward to seeing you my friend...been way too long (can't believe I just said that )
  25. I installed a set of E3's on the '89 I have here and have a question for the 1st genners. I find that the handling actually went down, I'm thinking because of the profile on the tire and it being more rounded up into the casing. It actually feels to me, at slow speeds to plow more, kinda like a stock 2nd gen. I'm not too crazy about this, but I know that I will get used to how it reacts. My question is, do any of you other 1st genners feel the same as I do ?
