Elder, I know we didn't get to do the carbtune while you were here, we can make that happen @ this MD as I will be bringing my carbtune with me. I dont recall what your fluids looked like, after 4 years you might need a fluid change in the brakes and the clutch. A clutch upgrade shouldn't be necessary yet, unless the bike has pull a trailer a lot or been ridden in parades. If you want to do a clutch upgrade I would suggest getting the kit from PCW racing and be done with it. It's about a 30 minute job and works awsome http://www.pcwracing.net/ BTW Bring that crazy winger friend of yours, he should be a hoot!

Took the words right out of my mouth, there is a silver lining to that cloud, I dont think you would have fared too well on the bike. All the best to you with all the dealings.

I have always loved seeing you play with this bike, looks sick, I would love to see it in person one day myself

I understand your frustration, did the same thing with the E3's I mounted on the '89 and they took a decent amount of weight to balance. I will say also that I am not crazy as some seem to be with the E3's. I still feel like they plow more than the Avons, good or bad, I wont be installing E3's on another bike I own. I have always had great luck with the Avons and thats what I am going to stick with from now on

James, I speak for myself here, but I know the sentiments ring true for many of us on this site. You dont owe us anything, I am a firm believer in paying it forward, or passing it on, whatever phrase fits best. We give because we want to, we've all had hard times, it's how you deal with those times that defines who you are. Get yourself squared away and take care of yourself....it will all fall into place.

Dianne & James, Another option with anything that needs to be sold is Craigslist. You mentioned a bra for a Grand Prix, I have had decent luck with selling things on Craigslist, best part is it's free. You can remove the ad on ebay as long as their are no bids on it. As far as funds, I'm glad that I could steer some that way. If you need some assistance my # is in my profile, things will fall into place

Mel, Dave Zipcode down here in Houston just bought one and we helped him put it together. He installed LED lights on it and it's a great little trailer, for the price you can go wrong. I couldn't build one for that price. As far as a hitch, Venturedad makes a great hitch for a good price, that bolts up to the RSV in about 15 minutes

Dianne, Thank you again for tackling James issues, were with you 100%. Good to see that your on here too, when you get ready for that next bike, if you want some help, we'll be more than happy to help spend your money Phones always on here, so if he can break away and needs to chat, I'll be here....thanks again for all your efforts

stator or ???

You hit on what I was going to suggest, the battery, but I still wouldn't rule it out. Do a load test on it, if it's having a cell thats starting to go bad, intermittenly, it could give you fits. Make sure all the connections are super clean, Ventures have a bad habit of having electrical Gremlins. Check all your connection plugs for corrosion and make sure there is some dilectric grease in them. -
I put a sticky on this thread to keep it up top, I also have a few things that I need to get on the classifieds for the St. Judes auctions. Thanks for all your efforts Lewis

Dont cut yourself short Gary, you still had to follow a plan or you could have screwed all the surgery work up. It's amazing from when I 1st met you to what you look like now, I'm real proud of you for the effort Bud -
