  2. When has that ever stopped you
  3. Thats would be an understatement! Yes the Prestone will work just fine, I also use what KiteSquid has shown, been using it for years.
  4. Nice job stepping up Steve, as the saying goes "Plan it and they will come" Have a great time!
  5. Now thats funny right there, Raised for 10 years by a Marine, so I have seen all the "Motivational" tricks in play. I still love ya Gary, not everyone can be a Marine, but having a thick head helps
  6. Chief, It does make a difference my friend, I hear it in your heart and your voice. Keep up the good fight brother, If I could help I would, but your in a great position to make a difference and you ARE! We love ya my friend and your making us proud for those of us that can't be there to make things happen.....were right behind you my friend. SEMPER FI
  7. I have always used a standard 1 7/8" ball, did the dragon on a 1st gen with the trailer behind me. I never had any issues pulling any trailer I had, and thats about 30K miles or so. If your concerned about it put a swivel hitch on it and forget about it
  8. There you go Dave
  9. I'll second that Russell, nice tribute page....Semper Fi
  10. Greg, I have run the Michelin Commander on both 1st and 2nd gen Ventures and had good luck with them. They are my 2nd choice to the Avon venoms which I love.
  11. For catching fish or the RSV

  14. Well...has it come in yet??
  15. I agree with you, I do have a GPS, but it's a piece of electronics that can fail. I have a laminated truckers road atlas that I take with me no matter what John, Good to hear you found something, I'm with you in wanting to know the correct speed on my speedo. I'm planning on putting one on the '99 when I get it rolling again.
  16. I have built several of the HF trailers with car toppers on them. Hazenson has one of the last ones I built and he matched the color to his Millennium. They are reasonably inexpensive and pull great. Just remember when you assemble the trailer to make sure it's square and especially the fwd part of the tongue is equal distance from both outside points of the axle. This will help it track strait and true
  17. James, Good to hear things are rolling towards the good side. It will get better and a big thank you is appropriate for Dianne...she's a keeper
  18. Yes the 12" wheel will be better as the bearings will spin slower than the 8" wheel. That being said the 8" will work just fine, you just have to keep the bearings greased with a bit more frequency.
  19. Sorry about the thread Hijack Bull ....it's all Kregs fault
  20. We'll make Kreg go to the corner Annie, he's always bad and definitely needs a time out
  21. Cool Beans!!
  22. Oh I'd pick on him either way whether I liked him or not....just sayin'
  23. Excellent! Looking forward to having you back here on home ground
  24. The one thing you are good at Kregerdoodle, is digging yourself a hole. I happen to have some pics of you in a field of flowers that was taken on a certain Blue Bonnet ride.....and no your wife didn't send them to me, I had my own
  25. I know there are still a few folks on this site that haven't been personally exposed to Dave Fast aka "Swifty".
