87 Linked Brakes

Another option is if you can't find one....delink the brakes and you wont have to worry about that bleeder port up top -
If everything has gone to plan they are somewhere in San Antonio right now. As soon as the Tomball/Houston crew hears from them we will let you all know

Interesting concept, I like the idea of not having to do mouth to mouth.

Check all the crush washers on the banjo bolts also, just a little leak will cause problems. -
Nice job Mark, Hal and I shaved our heads 2 years ago and raised about $2200.00 that was donated to 4 charities.

FWIW.... I wouldn't bother replacing an exsisting one, go out and buy a new mount and a Firestik antenna where you can tune it. You'll have much updated technology and you wont have to worry about it breaking again

I still have a lot of the "Trophy" hair, some of it is in the Platnum Hooter bottles and we also have the Dream Catcher. We need to get that traveling again and figure out how to present it with out taking the chance at loosing it, that almost happened in Ft. Collins in '07.

I agree with you Ben, the Road Glide is my favorite new style Harley. I love the front fairing, for most it's a Love/Hate with how it looks but I think it's sweet! Get what you want and enjoy it, thats why there are hundreds of different models and brands...choices are good

Dennis, Depending upon how long the bike has been setting and the previous maintenance that had been done, you might want to check the rear master cylinder. Many times on these older Ventures the brake fluid turns to jello and will dramatically hamper the braking system. The actual procedure that I have done in the past with good results is this. Bleed the rear caliper 1st, this makes it so that you have good pressure to force air up the line to the bleed screw by the upper triple tree. Then bleed it at that steering head bleeder and then go down to the front left caliper. If you dont have a vacuum bleeder you might want to think about getting one as it makes the job a lot easier. There are a lot of members in Tennessee that would just love an excuse to ride and give you a hand if you so chose. Others will chime in here and give others insights....welcome to the club. -
That makes sense too....been there, done that

Did he get a little tipsy and slip, fall and the sound made was Whoomp

I might have to try it then, Seafoam has gone nuts with their pricing

Next question....how much does it cost?
