  1. Cool Beans!!
  2. Craig, Not trying to be smart here, but I have assembled quite a few of these trailers. Dave Zipcode down here in Houston had several of us Houstonites come help with his. He put almost 10K on his this year and I know has had it over 75 mph consistently. Like Gary mentioned, put good grease in the hubs and make sure they are properly installed and you wont have any problems with them. Uhaul trailers also say not to go over 45 mph, but do you ever see people heeding that warning
  3. Good to see you on Lowell....we missed you my friend. Get yourself back to somewhat normal and lets do some riding
  4. That would be all your loss, all you would do is complain about the snow. We actually are good for your health, as we bring a bright attitude on the site when you guys are snowed in. Don weren't you actually born down here
  5. Nice thinking outside the box Mike, that will be a great looking 1 of a kind piece
  6. Have fun and enjoy the sun....vitamin D you know
  7. How to enjoy winter.....move to TEXAS and ride your motorcycle year round
  8. I wish there were words to help Ben, but there aren't any that haven't already been said. I wish all your family the best, my Dad had Pneumonia about 2 years ago. I can't even imagine having it as my Dad is one of the toughest guys I know and it wiped him out, that was tough for me to see him like that. I hope the situation on both your and his conditions get better, all the best my friend.
  9. I gotta tell you Owl. I would LOVE to help you...no really, I would. You see though, I am a tech short here now that Monkey Boy had his surgery done and now I have twice the workload again. I probably wont be able to get up there till atleast May, but iffin you still need a hand shoveling then I will catch the 1st flight up and take care of that for you....no really!
  10. I haven't recieved anything like that...perhaps he likes you and you now have a stalker
  11. December 7th 1941 is the day that our greatest generation were called upon to save the world....and they did. God Bless ALL our Warriors, past, present and future.
  12. Hope it all works out well in the end James.
  13. I have had 8 Ventures 4 1st gens (84, 2 86's and an 89) and I have had 4 2nd gens (3 99's and an 08) I wouldn't trade back if I had a choice, the G2 is much more comfortable for me and the wife. I'm not worried about carving up a road. If I wanted that I would have bought an ST 1300 or an FJR. 1st gens are great bikes, and way ahead of their time back in the day, but the foot position now is uncomfortable to me, 2nd gen all the way for me.
  14. Vern....you need a new dealer, they make the E3's in the sizes for both the 1st and 2nd gens front and rear.
  15. That would be one of the reasons we left the frozen north, sorry Owl, your on your own. Just remember that your more than welcome to come down to Texas and visit when you get sick of that white crap!

    Old Farts

I'll admit it....you guys are OLD Farts! I'm not, I just like reading some of the issues you geriatrics have
  17. Cool Beans!
  18. Tom, It was a 2 fold thing, we absolutely needed to get out of Houston! (Love our friends here, hate the city) I know you well enough to say that you wouldn't ask for help, I'm the same way. Christmas is about giving, and what we were able to do for you, gave to us in the same way it gave to you. We feel as good as Debbie does looking at the tree and knowing that it makes you both smile...so you see, you gave right back to us. As always thank you for the hospitality my friend, it's always good spending time with you folks. We'll see you again real soon and I promise we'll relax a bit more
  19. I agree with many of the others here, the Oberlin is a decent place and close to Don's, but after how they treated the group last year, there are a few choice words that I can't use here to explain to them how I feel about their establishment. The only way a place like that learns a lesson is by taking money away from them
  20. I would love to host one here at the house, as I have all the tools we'd need. My problem is time, I dont have any of it. Elder, how are you set for tools at your place I know several of us could bring the specific tools like Carbtunes and such.
  21. Congrats to all of you!
  22. That was VERY cool!
  23. Have fun and be sure to take pics so we can se what the world looks like upside down.
