Mike, The VR assistant list has that info in it, we have done it numerous times. I have always stated on the site that our door is always open to any and all from here. It will specifically say in members profile what they can help with, some are just local riding or towing, others offer everything. Make a plan for a trip and see what areas your going to try and stay in and contact the local members that offer lodging. Some it might just be tent space, others like Lonna and myself will actually let you in the house

In Michigan the tunnel of trees is a must, it's right on the way as your heading south through the upper part of the lower peninsula towards Traverse City, 119 if memory serves me right. While your heading south if you hit I75 @ Birch Run there is a place called Tony's. Go with a huge appetite as you wont believe the portions. If you have time while your in the upper peninsula go to Tahquamenon Falls, it's beautiful. Lots of neat things in the upper part of Michigan

Chris, Welcome to the site, were glad to have you here. Now if your not too picky on it being brand new, the warranties would still be good for a few more years on used '08 and '09's. Here is an '08 in Ohio for less than $10K http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=2459&title=2008-yamaha-royal-star-venture-s-model&cat=4 Others will chime in, but waiting until spring will obviously bring more money to the folks trying to sell their bikes. Craig, Not trying to be smart here, but I have assembled quite a few of these trailers. Dave Zipcode down here in Houston had several of us Houstonites come help with his. He put almost 10K on his this year and I know has had it over 75 mph consistently. Like Gary mentioned, put good grease in the hubs and make sure they are properly installed and you wont have any problems with them. Uhaul trailers also say not to go over 45 mph, but do you ever see people heeding that warning

I wish there were words to help Ben, but there aren't any that haven't already been said. I wish all your family the best, my Dad had Pneumonia about 2 years ago. I can't even imagine having it as my Dad is one of the toughest guys I know and it wiped him out, that was tough for me to see him like that. I hope the situation on both your and his conditions get better, all the best my friend.

I gotta tell you Owl. I would LOVE to help you...no really, I would. You see though, I am a tech short here now that Monkey Boy had his surgery done and now I have twice the workload again. I probably wont be able to get up there till atleast May, but iffin you still need a hand shoveling then I will catch the 1st flight up and take care of that for you....no really!
