    Just for grins start it up and take the turning end of a screwdriver and tap on the carb bowls. If a float is stuck that might jar it loose, unless it has been sitting with gas in it since it was new it doesn't make sense that it would be clogged up. It also should run very bad missing 2 cylinders, they run decent on 3 and it can be hard to distinguish them with a dropped cylinder.

    I have never encountered that Bob, but I would recommend that you replace the slave cylinder. I have seen only limited good results with trying to rebuild a slave cylinder. A new one isn't a whole lot more than a rebuild kit on it.

    Rusty, I made a tool for the cap removal on the forks out of a 1/2" bolt. The head of it is right at 17mm and I put 2 jam nuts on the shank and use a socket and 1/2" ratchet to remove it. Costs like a dollar

    I'm glad they are fixing that issue, I honestly believe that a tech didn't put your trunk together right after your accident up in Conneticut and eventually caused the problems we saw. I dont think this is a wide spread deal and is more of an isolated incident.

    Thanks for the pics, y'all look like you had a good time. It's definitely a time consuming job playing with the valve adjustment. I wish we would have been able to make it, back was just not allowing a lot of traveling. We had a few folks show up here Friday and Saturday, aamcotrans (Rob Wynn) from Beaumont showed up Friday to get away from the rat race and the Boomer on a last minute decision came over Saturday to change out his rear trunk base as he needs to get the old one back to the dealer who has been really on him for it to send it in for warranty. Even with just staying around here I pushed the back a little too much and I'm glad that we have Monday off so I have another day to recoup. We'll see y'all at Doodles MD next month

    Guys and Gals, I hate coming on here and reiterating that if you think it's political it probably is. You know there are relatively few rules here, and most of us are cool with that. Could I get on here and rant, damn skippy I could....but I don't, because being civil here is why folks come to this place. There are some that just like to come on and stir the pot, yes we all know who they are. There is no need to come on the site and call the moderators out with what happened to my post. If it is gone it is because it has crossed the line, or was heading down that path. I will say this in as nice a tone as I can so I dont hurt anyones feelings. If you want to make political statements go to websites that promote that. I know you will find folks that will flame just as much as you want to and you will see the hatred in human nature. This website will not turn into that, the moderators will see to that. Please if you dont like this or how the site is run, find another website

    Unfortunately I dont have the time now or the money to do what I like besides the bikes. In a past life not too long ago I used to Hunt, Fish, and a lot of Archery. I do still tinker with metal fabrication and I love to automotive painting. Now if I could just win that damn lottery and be able to do all of it again! Gunk....I like you thinking bro
