  1. Looking good Annie!
  2. All the best bro, biscuts and gravy for dinner tonight.....that should help atleast the head and stomach.
  3. Revision.... Talked with Ray again and he's held up inside Texas. Called his son in Temple and jr. told him not to chance coming across as they are having some bad storms out that way. So he got another room and will head home in the morning. I'm sort of glad he's done for the night, that many miles is hard on a body, especially on a new bike. Thanks again for following the saga
  4. Talked with Ray about 45 minutes ago, he was rolling into Texarkana. He's thinking he should be getting home between 10 and 11 pm. He's definitely getting to know his '03 up close and personal with the Evelin Woods speed riding course
  5. No...but a magnet will stick to that plate in your head!
  6. Just talked with Ray again, he's about 25 miles out of Little Rock on one of the 2 lanes. He's going to stop and see a family member in Little Rock (his Daughter I believe) and then onto Temple tonight. Thanks again for all the help fellas
  7. Ben, I have a couple of old CLASS systems, I'll try and remember when I get home and I'll see if I have the part. If I do it's yours, I'll just need an address.
  8. Randy and Ken, Thanks for the info, and for the call last night to him Randy. He mentioned talking with you and the route you suggested is what he's gonna do. I'll keep updating as I get more info
  9. Just got off the phone with Ray, he is staying in Sikeston Missouri tonight and would appreciate any help with good road info. Seems lots of roads are flooded, unfortunately he doesn't have a laptop with him. So he can't get online and scope things out. If any of the Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas members could help him out with good road info that would be much appreciated. His cell # is 713 301 3418 give him a shout if you want. Thanks in advance for the info
  10. I mentioned for him to stick with the slabs, all interstates as far as he could. I'll try to get ahold of him and see how he's fairing.
  11. He is a member here Annie, his screen name is Oldschool. Ray is a good friend of mine and has been chomping at the bit for several months to get a 2nd gen. I am happy that he was finally able to get his wish
  12. I am planning on going there after work and see him again, hopefully he'll be able to leave withing a day or so. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers, both he and I, along with all the family appreciate it
  13. Ray made it to Coldwater Michigan last night and when he called me this morning he was getting into Ft. Wayne. He is heading I 70 over to I 57 and down into Memphis, he is going to attempt to get into the Litle Rock Arkansas area tonight. He'll finish the ride to Temple Texas tomorrow. As I get more info out of him I'll post his whereabouts up BTW....He is one happy camper with his new bike!
  14. Goose, You can see the nipple, and where the hose connects goes to with an inspection mirror. We did check the other connections on both front and back AIS units. I'll probably get with Zipcode this weekend and we'll make it happen. Unfortunately there's not a lot of room to get anything in there to reconnect it besides taking the pipe out of the way.
  15. Happy Birthday Walter!!!
  16. A bit more updating..... Don is doing well, pain yes, but typical Gunboat and feisty! He is in a private room and we went in there after he was moved from recovery. We were making fun of eachother, and making him laugh....which does hurt, but he is in great spirits. Thank you all for thinking of him, Lonna, Heather, Erica (his oldest daughter) and myself are going to head back in a couple hours to see how he's doing. Monkey Boy is there now with him and Doodles are soon to arrive at some point. As soon as more skinny comes, I'll get back on and spill the beans. He sends his thanks to everyone and says hello
  17. As many of you are aware Don (Gunboat) has the early stages of Prostate Cancer. Today is the day that he goes in for his surgery. If you would please keep him in your prayers. I dont often come on and ask for things like this, but Don is one of my very best friends and I love him dearly. Here's hoping for a successful surgery and full recovery.
  18. It has to be the last year for the Venture, no carbureted models due to EPA after this year if memory serves me right.
  19. Me....and her, hows that
  20. Very nice afternoon yesterday! We met Dana and his lady Sarah (hope there's an "H" on that) very good folks. He was great to work with, very hands on guy, he pretty much did all the swap of his clutch himself. We just gave him a bit of guidance and morale support, he did real good Ended up doing the clutch upgrade, tightened the steering head bearings and a carb sync. He insisted on taking all of us out to supper and we ended up at a little Mexican place we frequent down in Porter. Had a great meal with Zipcode, Dana and Sarah as well as my family. As always BS ensued and we could have probably spent another few hours doing more of it. Really appreciated being able to spend some time with Dana and Sarah, as well as Dave and Owen. Dana will fit right in here, and were looking forward to spending some more time with he and his gal. Thanks again for dinner Dana, we'll catch up again soon I'm sure
  21. About time you quit screwing around and stopped whining about the snow!
  22. I'll bump this back up top and just put my address on it.... 16164 Lone Star Ranch Drive Conroe Texas 77302
  23. Hey All, Dana (csmbrek) will be coming by to our place tomorrow @ 2pm to have some fixin going on with his bike. Nothing spectacular, but if anyone is a out and about or needs some basic maintenance done, the garage will be open @ 2 as I have half a day to work tomorrow. Iffin you can or want to make it PM/email me for an address
  24. Bring it by the house Dave and we'll put a carb sync on it, and check to make sure they hooked the AIS up correctly. Saturday afternoon, if Dana concurs, I'll be doing some bike maintenance after I get home from work.
  25. Seems bad dealers outweight good ones too often. Zipcode just got his RSTD back and had issues with how they put it together and called me for some help. Loose battery connections, missing fuses, shotty workmanship. I hope you can get some resolve and get the confidence back in the bike....
