  1. Too late then, 'cause it will soon be mine. I do appreciate all the work you did to it, though. Also, he had posted a while back that both bikes were for sale. I thought you saw it.
  2. Yep, I'm home.
  3. I just talked to Buddy on the phone, as I am planning on going out there and buying his RSV later this month. He hasn't been online because he is still without power from the big ice storm they had. He bought a generator, and they are getting by. He said he has temporary power enough for the house, and the heating unit. He'll be back online as soon as they get their services restored. He still has his Wing for sale, and if anyone is interested, give him a call.
  4. Pat, if y'all need anything let me know. If you want, I can come over and take him for a ride. Just put a wig on his bald head, and put him on the back of my scoot. I'll let him ride b***h...if he'll keep his hands to himself this time...lol:stickpoke:
  5. I found out tonight that I could've gotten you a better deal if you had called me first. Anyone else who is thinking of getting a Hannigan kit.....call me first. I'll see how much money I can save you. For you Bob, it sounds like it might be too late. It's not a whole lot, but every little bit helps.
  6. No viruses as of yet....give it time. The hackers will go after Macs soon enough. Skid, what did you do to get it working, or did it just start working ok all of a sudden?
  7. I found 'em. These are some of the chocks Pitbull sells. http://www.condor-lift.com/product.asp?ItemID=1001 This one is kinda pricey, but popular.
  8. If you don't find one, the bike shop right by my house sells a few types of chocks. www.pitbullmotorcyclelifts.com EDIT: They must be working on the site, 'cause I don't see anything but lifts. I know they have the chocks in stock though, along with tons of other stuff.
  9. And here she is!!!! http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/untitled.jpg
  10. Bears eat fish, so they don't need ice. They need water for the fish to swim in. All I'm gonna say.
  11. I heard someone washed his coffee mug, and he had to go hunt them down.
  12. Just cut them about an inch bigger than the hole, and use double-sided tape to hold them in place. Go to lowe's and buy some flashing, cut them, and tape them in. Mine work great, look pretty good and they stay in place.
  13. Look at the pics of my '83 in my profile. That's what I am using.
  14. OR.........you could just leave it here until it warms up.
  15. You takin' it to Hannigans in Murray, Ky? Me and B2dad, B2mom and Midnite all live just a few miles from there.
  16. SilvrT, Nwiz is your Nvidia wizard for your video card, and QTTask is for Quicktime. The other two you can do without.
  17. It's the little red triangle up in the right corner.
  18. I think you should just delete the bad posts, and the person/persons choosing to ignore your warnings should get a slap on the wrist to warn them(like a 24 hr ban for first offense, etc...). This is your forum, and if people can't obey your rules, especially after you warn them, then they need some form of punishment, or go somewhere where they CAN post their drivel. Just my 2 cents.
  19. 90% 22 miles 495 seconds
  20. Just think of how much pleasure riding a motorcycle brings to you. Why would you want to deprive him of that same feeling? I say that if you don't think he's ready, but he wants to ride, then take the time to help him through it until he IS ready. My sons have always ridden. Oldest has my old GS 850L. It's a great feeling when 3 generations go riding together.(My dad, me, and my son). It is a family love that we have for riding. I would never deny my kids or grandkids that joy. Good luck on whatever you decide.
  21. .....and remember, when he gets back, he'll be a Major!
  22. Looking forward to seeing him when he returns!! I know you and Pat are worried about him flying such a slow plane, but he'll be ok. I Salute him!
  23. Well, I fired mine up, but only after buying a new battery. I had bought one last March, but it decided to crap out on me, so I bought a new one from Napa with a 1 year replacement(no pro rate) warranty. Changed the oil and bled the clutch, washed it, checked the tire pressures, and took it for a ride. Felt sooo good!! Supposed to be in the mid 50s and low 60s this week, but of course they are calling for rain.
  24. Hey Don, IF Pat decides to drive it to work, will you call me so I will know to stay off the road, til she gets there?......lol:stickpoke: Seriously, she could drive the trike, and I bet Woody would make you a good deal on that old Kawasaki dresser he has....lmao!! Go for it Pat.
  25. We both drive Ford F-150s. One has 301,000 miles on it and the other has 245,000 miles on it. Both are strong running, use about a quart of oil between changes, still look decent, and both have ice cold air conditioning. I love my Ford trucks. Mama likes trucks better, too. Probably gonna add a small car or truck to the stable soon, just for better mileage on trips.
