His trike won't be ready until tomorrow, so he rode Ky Rider's bike. He did ok on that, although being very careful. He is returning it as I type this.

I think I miss the YICS

Like they said...check for air leaks. Get a spray bottle, and fill it with soapy water...then, while it is idling high, spray around all of your connections, and listen for a change. -
That's right, gang up on me, will ya? I'm tellin' Rita. She'll stick up for me.

I'm gonna try to leave work early tomorrow, and try to meet up with you guys before you get too far down this way. Won't be hard to spot.....one guy on a trike that's weaving around all over the place.

Hey, whatever makes him feel better, I'm all for it!

Glad he's feeling better!!

Great, now I need a sober cager to gimme a ride to the Comfort Inn for the party....unless the tent campers have a good party going on at Don's too.

Mine aren't as bad as Bummer's. Mine are more in the middle of the tire, and look more like spider veins. They're not deep. so I am not really worried about them. I will run them until June, then I will buy a set of E3s.

Saw another one today. Rare to see many Ventures around here. Something is up...lol This one was a MM, and he wouldn't wave for crap...wouldn't even look over my way. The 2 RSTDs with him waved, and the VMax that was shortly behind, waved. The RSV guy didn't even know I was there.

Lewis Black would get my vote...lol.

It's called "work". I go on shift work in two weeks, after I take the big oral exam next Monday. I'll have many more days off to do things after that.

I noticed today, as I was putting my pipes back on, that my rear Avon is dry-rotted on the sidewall, with lots of tread left. I think Roadkill put them on, but I don't know how many miles are on them. I am planning on replacing it before MD anyway, and now, I may just go with E3s. Not sure yet.

Not yet. I have to make time to take my bike up there, and we are going to take a bunch of measurements, and go from there. Got2mnytoys posted earlier, and said... "I've had the pit-bull air operated lift for my venture for about 5 years now and also have the turntable. the adapter that slide on the lift arms can also be used on the turntable I use a screw to keep them from possibly slipping off."

I saw an RSV this morning on my way to work. It was in Camden, Tennessee, on Hwy 70. Not sure of the color as it was just getting light, but it looked like this one in the pic. It was pulling a matching trailer, and was an older gentleman driving it. I yelled out "Ventureriders", and gave him the thumbs up as I went by, as I didn't have time to chase him down. Anyone here? http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/4020392169_cddef822591.jpg

Got my RKs put back on. aamcotrans, I will let him know that you are interested. Here is a pic. They aren't perfect, but they look good. As you can see, they have some light pitting, but I think you could probably polish it out. I never even noticed the pitting with them sitting under my saddlebags. Let me know for sure if you want them. You asked about mounting. You use the same brackets that you use for the RK pipes. If you don't have any, I think someone here on the site makes them. http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/IMG_3882.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/IMG_3881.jpg

When I get time to take them off, I'll ask him about a set of RKs for you, Buddy.

Hope you find him a good home with lotsa room. Funny, this reminded me of an editorial in our local paper last Thursday. http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/puppy.jpg

I am not keeping them. Too loud for Mama. They are $425 + shipping. New, they are $795. These are slightly used, but still in very good shape.

You are sooooooooo lucky to be here!! It's just not your time to go yet. Glad you are still here with us, and I hope you heal up nice and quick. Same goes for the rest of the family.

I have lots of trouble with shaving. I only use the Gillette Fusion now, and I still can't shave every day. Mine is so bad that they let me keep a short beard in the Navy, with a "no shave chit". Some old Chiefs didn't like it, because the Navy didn't allow them to grow beards anymore. http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/th_Navypics-1.jpg

Glad to hear! Now, you and Don just gotta figure out where we're gonna eat at tomorrow, and what time. Let me know.
