Yes, the have an Econo set, in addition to the Elite and Performance sets. I am not interested in the Econo set. The Elite and Performance sets both have an identical write-up on them. Just the part # is different, so I am looking to see if there is any difference.

I am going to the store today to buy two new J&M Headsets and lower cords. Does anyone know if there is any REAL difference between the "performance" headset and the "Elite" headset? The price isn't much different, and the descriptions are identical between the two. However, the lower cords are $30 difference between the "P" and "Z" cords. They look identical also. Has anyone here had both, and could tell a difference? Need to know soon, as I'm going to get them in a bit.

Thanks for the replies. I just called my County Court Clerk's office, and he stated that Tennessee law says that you don't have to register the trailer IF it is being towed by a vehicle with a Tennessee tag. He said I probably wouldn't have an issue in other states, but if I wanted to bring him a notarized bill of sale, then he could register it for me if I wanted. These are from the Tennessee Dept. of Safety website... © There shall be no tax on trailers owned by farmers and used for agricultural purposes or hauling livestock between farm and market, or for trailers used for the transportation of boats, or any other trailer drawn by an automobile or truck, except house trailers and rented trailers as herein defined. This section shall not apply to any trailer used in the furtherance of a business, any personal trailer that is not required to be registered but which the owner desires to be registered nor to truck trailers registered under § 55-4-113 Does the State of Tennessee title and register boat trailers? No. Trailers used for the transportation of boats are exempt from both title and registration. You must, however, contact the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Division at (615) 781-6522, relative to the registration of your boat.

2nd gear issue was fixed during the '85 model year. I'd go with the '86.

We don't have to register our trailers here in Tennessee. I heard someone say last week, that my trailer has to be registered, because some states require it. Is this true? I will be pulling my trailer to Ohio next month for MD, and don't want any issues.

I was starting to wonder, as we haven't heard from you in a while. Stay safe, and see ya back home soon.

Mountainhorsega has it right. Squeaking is caused by vibration. By tightening up the pads with the anti-squeal, you can eliminate this problem. "scrubbing" noise is caused from the brake pads being glazed over from too much heat...from riding the brakes. This can be fixed by roughing up the brake pad surfaces and rotors with Scotch Brite....and then not riding the brakes. I mostly use my engine to do the braking, and my pads last much longer. Happy braking!!

Heal up quick Earl. Sorry this had to happen to ya. At least it wasn't any worse.

Glad to see you're ok Buddy. I'm sure your Mom is alright. She's in our thoughts here.

I have a feeling this is political and done on purpose. Let's hope not, but you remember Obama just approved more offshore drilling for oil. I wonder if someone is trying to send him a message? Just something to think about.

Good luck Taters! Hope it's the last one you will ever need.

Sup Woody? Glad to see you on here. Have you inspected the water pump impeller? Are you sure it's circulating? Is the timing right? Is the fan turning the right direction? There are sooo many things that could cause it. If I get time, I could help you try to track it down. All you need to do is buy the beer.

Former Deputy Sheriff here. Gave it up. Got tired of putting up with so many disrespectful punks, and the small salary I was getting. Wasn't worth it. You have to love the job, not the pay. That's how I felt when I worked Fire/EMS...the pay sucked, but I loved helping others. Away from all of that now. Working for the Government. Still working nights/weekends/holidays, but the pay is sooo much better. Be safe guys and gals!
