  1. Is that the REAL reason you're not coming to MD? lol You coming to the international rally? I'll even let you ride it.
  2. I had them on my '83, and they were great. That's why they're on my '03 now. Give them time to get scrubbed in...kinda like gettin' your sea legs....lol
  3. Tell her to ease up on the hair spray...lol:stickpoke: I'm gonna hide now.
  4. That Larry guy.....he is sooo smart!!
  5. Partshark takes so long because they have to order the parts from Yamaha, and then send them to you. I kinda got into it with them over that, as my parts took two weeks to get. So, why not just order from Yamaha yourself?
  6. Don't forget to change the spark plugs after you do that.
  7. I still have the stock system with the Clarions, and I can leave the volume on 30, and not hear any distortion. Just ask those who were at B2dad's m&e. I rode in with Bob Seger up full blast.(don't ask them about my parking though) Of course, that is with my MP3 player. Radio is not as good. Alot of people tell me that I have a better system on my bike, than a lot of cars do.
  8. Half a can. Congrats on the trike. Is it a white one, from Sedalia?
  9. Well Annie, how about some Bunderburg? Or at least some VB?
  10. You forgot the cheesecake, ice cream and frog legs!!
  11. Ummm.......see here. Posted this morning. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?threadid=49315
  12. The Bridgestone Spitfire is what I put on my GS850, because it was the original equipment. Worst tire I ever bought. Only got like 3,000 miles on them. The Dunlops have the same setup with the harder and softer compounds. I think most tires do nowadays.
  13. Motorcycle-superstore.com Dunlop E3
  14. We'll have to make room for the goldfish by removing some of the frogs. We don't want it to get too crowded in there.
  15. And corn too!!
  16. Party pooper!
  17. May....beee!!! Why, you want some too?
  18. By the way Don.....you got any frogs in that pond?
  19. Good idea! Yeah, I apologize for all of my MD actions too. So, now I'm covered, right?
  20. Call your local utility company, and see if they have any info on it. Mine is a heat pump, which is central heat and air combined. It doesn't put out lots of heat like a gas unit does, unless it gets REALLY cold out. Read up on them, and see if that's what you want or not. I could've gotten a gas unit just as easily thru them, but I don't like gas in my house.
  21. Here is what we have. Bought it at the local Honda/Yamaha shop. http://goldwingchrome.com/N_ItemDetails.asp?parItemID=1876&parCategory=MISC
  22. Try this real quick.... unhook the kill switch wires from the engine, so that nothing can kill the magneto. Then, YOU take it for a ride(because you won't be able to kill it), and make some right turns. That will rule out the wiring, at least. You'll have to choke it out or pull the plug wire to kill it.
  23. My bill went down enough, so that when they added the payment in, it ended up being about the same. One of the best things is, now that it's all outside, I don't have to hear it running. Those split units are sooo loud. Mine is a Rheem. I've had it ten years now, and only things I've done are hosing out the condenser coils, and replacing one starting capacitor.($10)
  24. TVA doesn't, but your power provider might have a similar program. I picked the 4 ton, as my house is 1500sq. ft., and I like to keep it cold. You could hang meat in here most of the time...lol They will come out and do a survey, and recommend the right size for your house. I think mine was around $6000.
