Yeah, but my RSV is so much prettier. That Peg is a keeper. You better treat her right!

Gunky, those used to be in the Star catalog. Not sure if they're still available or not. If I was at home I'd give you the part #'s from my catalog.

The bad thing is.....people who ride around dressed like that, with no regard to safety are commonly referred to as "squids". Google it. http://www.bytebrothers.org/SquidTest.htm What does SQUID stand for? Stupidly Quick, Underdressed and Imminently Dead (motorcycle Slang) What does SQUID stand for? I just know if'n I gotta go #2 really bad, and the bathrooms are tied up, I need somewhere to go. It's either gonna be a porta potty, or the woods. LOL....I just think it'd be better for those middle of the night pee'ers, instead of 'em goin in the house and waking anyone up. I myself can pee in the woods. I mean....there's gonna be 200 people there. How many bathrooms you got?

Don, I have a few questions... Are we going to have a fire ring, for hot dogs and marshmallows and such? Are we doing the porta potties? I know several of us had said we would pitch in to cover the cost, and it would be easier on your septic tank.

He will be in our thoughts here.

I just did the relay mod for my volts gauge. I will post a writeup as soon as I can. I'm working the next 3 nights. I took pictures. The gauge still reads a volt less than my meter, but now, the gauge doesn't drop below 12 volts when I turn my passing lamps on. I started my bike and turned everything on...radio, passing lamps, brake lights and my trailer, with all 13 of it's lights.....still got 13.5 volts at the battery, according to my meter...at idle...guess my stator is good.

See...now you don't have an excuse for missing MD. Seems everything has been well taken care of...parts, tools and an offer of labor. See ya in Ohio!!

Drive the cage(car), and I have an extra small tent I'll let you use. Problem solved.

It's the gauge kit that Ponch sells, bezel and all.

Well, I guess I've been doing it wrong all of these years. That's the way I was taught. Learn something new every day.

I use the ph6017a. I don't want a filter that is too restrictive, as it restricts the flow of oil also, and cuts down on needed pressure. Just my 2 cents.

You should NEVER back off a wheel bearing. You should snug it up until you can just barely feel any play when grabbing the tire at the top and bottom, then wiggling it. You want just a little play in it. Tightening it up that much, and then loosening it will crush(for lack of a better term) it in too far, and create problems for you later.

You didn't knock a vaccuum line off when washing it did you? Check 'em. -
Is ice 4 miles away also, or is there a gas station or somewhere closer that sells it?

You can come up here Wednesday, and leave with us on Thursday morning. We're gonna ride part way, and spend the night around Cincinnatti, then ride on into Don's Friday. There will be several of us in a group, as we are picking more up along the way that morning.

We're always up for some grub.

Sounds like the way to go. It takes longer, but if you want it right, then so be it.

Yeah, with the limited time frame, it really helps if you can remove the seat and tank, and split the fairing. I can do all of that, it just takes longer.
