Here is a quick video of their sendoff. The Patriot Guard had a pretty decent showing. They escorted them all the way to Memphis. That's about 150 miles.

They are all fixed up. Both have laptops with webcams, and we all have Skype. We did a test run, and made sure everything works ahead of time.

Heading out in a few to see my 2 Sons ship out for their 14 month deployment, which will take them to Kuwait and Afghanistan. They will be together, and I told them they had BETTER look out for each other. They will be going to Ft. Bliss, Texas first, for some training, then go overseas. We are so proud of our boys, but also a little worried. I'm sure they will come home safe to us, but there's still that worry in the back of your head. I think it will do them some good, and make better men out of them.

Need Prayers for Ponch!!!

Thanks for the update Brad. I know Ponch's will is strong, and he'll fight all he can to get back to normal. Sounds like some of the sedation is wearing off, and he is doing just that. We're still pulling for him here, and look forward to more good news as the hours pass. -
I only use Rotella 15W40 dino oil, and I have 72,000 miles on it so far. It never uses a drop, and the oil doesn't even get very dirty between changes. I have put it through some extremely hot days also. I'll stick with what works for me.

When I'm having trouble with the light, I put it in neutral and drop the kickstand. That usually does it.

Thanks for what you do. My two boys ship out this Thursday. Supposed to be over there for 14 months.

That really sux to hear! Hope he will be ok. We're thinking of him and Lil Bit here. -
I use the HH pads, and they make a clicking sound as the pads pass over the holes in the rotor. I can live with the sound, as I like them in every other way. Never have locked up the rear wheel either.

You forgot to add the St. Jude run.

Rob, Thanks for the offer. If schedule permits, dinner and/or drinks sounds good...and of course, ice cream. We are staying at the Newcastle.

That won't work, because one can always do this...

I'm hoping we enjoy it. We lived there when I was in the Navy, and I didn't care much for it. Too many people crammed into a very small area. Along with other things, I'm gonna take him to the USS Wisconsin, for a tour. That should be awesome. I wanted to take him aboard my old ship, but they won't be back home until next month. I am going to try to take him to Damneck, where I was trained...if they'll let us in.

We're headed out to Virginia Beach today. Looks like we're gonna have cooler weather out there. Haven't been there in 20 years. We'll be in the truck, as we're taking the oldest Son and his wife on a little vacation, before he deploys overseas in 2 weeks. He hasn't seen the beach since he was a baby. I got us two hotel rooms, with hot tubs, overlooking the beach. Should be a great time.

All you can do, is cut all the printer cables on the network. Good sharp pair of scissors should do it.
