Too heavy for me. I know the owner of Boss Hoss. His name is Monte...lol. Super nice guy. The International rally is held down here in Paris, Tn, in September of every year. They don't charge for demo rides. I met a guy from Michigan that has two 502's on his trike. He designed it himself. -

Glad he's ok. Yes, the F4 is much better than the Clearview.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. Prednisolone is like a miracle drug. They prescribe it for lots of stuff. But...if you take it for too long, it will lower your immune system. That's why it's usually in a 7 day dose pak.

Put it in gear.:rotf:

I'm just surprised the government hasn't already shut it down, with all the whackos & nutjobs in here. Maybe they're using it for another social experiment.

How about a small steel oil can with a trigger? You can find them just about anywhere.

Roadkill has a new clutch, new tires & new wheel bearings. Ready to go. Rode in to work this morning, and it is a balmy 46 degrees.

Hate to see you go. If you're ever in the Nashville area, give me a call.

My bike tags are $17/year, so I don't complain.

Thanks for all of the replies. She is on the fence. She loves the bike trips alot, but she has also been mentioning that she has really been thinking about getting a bike lately. Now...my wife is a bit different than most. I have to pretty much MAKE her spend money on herself. Heck, I drive a 2012 truck, and she drives 1997 truck. It's even a 5 speed manual. She likes trucks & bikes...lol. She always has a ton of excuses for not buying something, so I just have to be aggressive & just do it. It's not like we can't afford it. We've been married for 29 years now, so I guess it all works.

We don't plan on her taking any trips this year, if we get her a bike. Maybe I wasn't clear in my original post? The plan would be to get her a bike, get some practice, get her license and a safety course. With enough practice, she could be ready for some trips next year...maybe. Oh, and MiCarl...she already has a job. We just don't want to borrow money to buy one.

She doesn't have her bike license yet, so hard to do test drives.

This is one that is within our reach. It's an 1100, but it is low-slung, so easier for her to sit. IDK. We have been slowly looking. We found a nice Rebel too, but she wants a bike that won't have to work so hard on trips.

Annie, if we don't go, I'm almost positive you & Alan will be rolling through my part of Tennessee while you are here. Jeff, we always do camp. We have a popup motorcycle camper. $100 wouldn't even buy the gas on the trip...lol.

I had 3 trips planned for this year. Don's MD, the international, and another ship reunion down in Florida. Now, as you know, these trips can be expensive. My dilemma..... My wife(Angel) has expressed an interest in wanting her own bike. She used to have a YZ125 & rode motocross, but has never ridden on the street. I really want her to have a bike if she wants one. I think everyone with any common sense should have the experience. If we take the trips, she'll have to wait quite a while to get a bike. I have the money for the bike right now, but if we take the trips, I will no longer have it. We really do enjoy our trips, and seeing all of you fine folks, when we do. See my dilemma? What would you do?

I am turning in my vacation dates today. Guess I'll have to be sick on MD.

Here is a little helpful hint. If you ask to join the FB page, the admins may send you a private message to ask you to verify your name here. You may not see those private messages, since you aren't friends. If you look up at the top left of home page, you will see "messages". After you click on that, you will see "inbox" & "other". Most people have messages in that "other" folder, because they never knew it was there. Check it out.
