Royal Star 97 - How to get the right crash bars?
wes0778 replied to calperin's topic in Watering Hole
I think the saddle bag bars come stock from Yammie. At least all the bikes, i've seen, like ours already have them have them. If they are not on yours, I think the lindsay ones come as a "set" which includes the rear bars. I gotta say though, they look "pricey"! -
Royal Star 97 - How to get the right crash bars?

I bought Barrons from Cruiser Customizing (CruiserCustomizing.com). They were about $190.00 including shipping. The part # is BA-7100-00. Went right on, yeah Right!!! In the instructions they mention that due to manufacturing tollerences you may need to (I forget the exact wording) push, pull, bend and/or :scorched:adjust them. They weren't kidding. But once they are on they look kinda nice... :sign brain fart:Oh, something I almost forgot, don't count on your local stealership to have the recommended bottom bolts. I had to go to the local Ace Hardware store. If my feeble brain serves me right you need M6x1.25 thread bolts. I got the grade 8 flanged ones that were long enough to go through so I could put jam nuts on the back side. -
Yup, that's where it is, behind the engine, kinda between the driver and passenger floorboards on the right side. Thanks!!!

Wonder if it will fit in the original location on an RSTC?

Voyager kit on my scooter. Works very well, no complaints.

This is an opinion from a stranger or maybe aka a friend you haven't met yet. It may also be worth exactly what you paid for it. I don't know and don't want to know any of the specifics and don't know how old your daughter is. What I do know is that there is no one more important in this mess is your little girl! Please weigh what she will have to relive on the witness stand, against the natural parental wish for "a pound of flesh"! As most of the CO's will tell you this guy will be in pure Hell the entire time he is in prison. Even in prison child molesters are on the absolute bottom of the aforementioned pecking order. If 12 years is a certainty and your little girl does not have to face the defense attorney, alone, that may be an acceptable outcome. No, I'm not a lawyer, just a Dad with two daughters! May the Lord be with you and comfort you and your family!!! Walter

GOOD FOR HIM!!! It is never too late I literally wore out 3 power lawn mowers in the mid 60's getting my pilot's license. Back then, my Explorer Scout Air Squadron, with contributions from a local business man, even rebuilt a 1941 airplane from the ground up. We flew it for several years. Riding a scoot is the next best feeling of freedom, compared to flying, I miss it!

11:51, huh? Then you and I were late together. Prayers said, though!!! Any news?

Just tried it, not working for me either. I'm trying using FireFox.

You didn't miss it, someone must have tipped him off. Yesterday somewhere in his "smoke and mirrors" he mentioned it had a 6-speed tranny.

Music Row and the Grand Ole Opery in Nashville Natchez Trace (Runs from Nashville TN to Natchez MS) watch for deer and the federal park rangers who absolutely enforce the 50 mph speed limit! Vicksburg(MS) Military Park Ferry across the bottom of Mobile(AL) bay. There are historic forts at either end of the ferry ride. Think about being on the Mississippi Gulf coast Oct. 4 - 11 for Cruisin' the Coast http://www.cruisinthecoast.com/ it is a week long antique car show. Then there is always New Orleans. There are so many things to see there you gotta like some of them. Beale Street in Memphis Just to name a few...

I do you have pictures of the Carbon One jack stand? I've tried Uncle Google to see one and all it seems to come up with is sites talking about carbon credits and such! Walter

There was a fellow I saw around here a few years ago that had something like that on a GW, except as I remember it had pneumatic tires a little larger than these. I never did get close enough to see exactly how his worked. Someone told me this guy was either paralyzed or had limited strength in his legs. It looked like to me it worked rather nicely.

Amen!!! Here, sadly enough, is another example of the bike being blamed for crashing into a truck that turned into the rider's path. I hope it is readable...

It's a shame you cannot fix stupid! But I guess when I was 25 I thought I was 10' tall an bullet proof too. But by the grace of God I made it past it. Drinking and driving X100 don't mix on a scoot.

It's not so much the "liquid sunshine" as it is for the last few days the drops have been coming down at 45-60 degree angles.
