More like 15 minutes off and 20 minutes on. I have had zero problems with it on my Burgman. Very stable. But like Bigboy says it is like training wheels. http://mtcvoyager.com/

When I search Marble Falls on my Microsoft Streets and Trips, It comes up with Dog Patch, between Jasper and Harrison, on Hwy 7, Is that correct?

As a joke, while we were in high school, in the 60s, we put 5 gallons of diesel in a boy's 1956 Desota:smile5:. It smelled funny, but actually ran a little better, go figure...

Went to the Trail of Honor thingy this afternoon. It was hosted by the local Harley Dealership. When I got ready to leave, there were some of the event officials in a golf cart partially blocking my way to the exit. I eased around them whch put me in a not so good position to set up for the exit gate. One of the guys in charge of parking saw me coming and was in the process of pulling the ribbon gate open for me. I expected him to step one way and he apparently expected me to another way, 'cause he stepped right where I was headed. As slow as I was going, I guess I pulled the front brake too hard and "crunch" the left side of the:bowdown: Baron engine guard worked perfectly. I got off and never turned loose of the clutch. The beast was laying there still running when at least 5 folks appeared out of nowhere, and had it back up right before I really realized what had happened. I got back on, thanked them all and did a quick Exit Stage Left.:bang head: Now, Lemme find the donate button...

That Knight Rider light bar was the simplest installation I've ever done. I didn't REPLACE the reflector, I just drilled a hole (for the wires) in the middle of it and stuck the light bar, using the supplied 3M double sidded tape, to the reflector. Then cut the wires to length, stripped them and just (yeah I know "southern engineered" them) unplugged the connections put the stripped ends in and re-plugged the connectors. All in all took 20 minutes. That and I added the tail light board from Biker Highway (the least expensive one I've found). The LEDs on it furnish plenty of light for illuminating the tag.

Think about it, we all ride "beasts" that will run 100mph+ and have to be propped up when we get off, so in that regard we all ain't wrapped very tight...

AS mentioned before, I think this diagram is flawed, for use on a RSx. IMHO the horn button does not supply power to the original horn, but completes the circuit by "making" ground.

Did you try this thread? http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=91 Btw one of the original horn wires should be hot all the time, that the key is on, and the other on runs to the horn "button", which completes the circuit to ground.

I have to admit..........

If M/C tires act the same as the tires on my cages do with Nitrogen in them the temperature does not seem to affect the pressure. When I put the new front tire on to match the previously installed rear, I had Nitrogen put in them. Suposedly another advantage is that it does not leak through the rubber in the tires as does plain air. We'll see... -

I might be wrong, :think:but nowhere in this diagram does it show the horn button, which on these bikes completes the ground to activate the "stock" horn. This diagram appears to show "the button" sending 12v+ to the circuit, again, which is wrong. At least it would be for my RSTC II.
