  1. If it ain't broke, don't fixit!!!
  2. Good to meet you too,AND I enjoyed the donuts!!! Wish work hadn't gotten in the way of our visit, and rain in the way of making a ride along the beach. Maybe next time. As I said, when you, or any of y'all for that matter, get up to the Jackson(MS) area gimme a call and I'll make sure the coffee is on, at least!
  3. When the video finishes, click on some of the other videos at the bottom. One of them shows the little "green machine" going over on its' side and spining like a top...
  4. If my evening ride along the Mississippi Gulf coast gets rained out:crying:, I'll be there.
  5. BTW, if you do get to move to the deep south, be aware that there are two terms of endearment we use for y'all; 1. a Yankee - Someone from the north that comes to visit and goes back. 2. a Damn Yankee - Someone from the north that MOVES down here!!! :stickpoke: :crackup: All joking aside come on DOWN!!!
  6. Along these lines, is anyone using Google's Chrome?
  7. :sign yeah that: Never-Never-NEVER Open the freon can to the high side with the compressor running!!! Doing that will presurize the can enough that it will EXPLODE . ideally when working properly the low side will pull down to 25-35 (positive)psi, so like some have mentioned you may have to put the freon can into hot water to encourage the "stuff" outa the can.
  8. I found the 404 WWW front tire at M/C Superstore with the, at that time, 10% discount it was $98.00 with free shipping. Yeah, it is a PITA to keep clean, but an occasional shot of Westley's Bleach White and a rinse with a hose keeps it really clean as long as the bike is in motion
  9. Sometimes the new one will drop right in place after lounging in dry ice for about an hour. Just don't let it bounce.
  10. U BAD Boss!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
  11. But is there a spring inside the valve body behind that square shaft? may even be a leaf type spring that in conjunction with hydraulic pressure furnishes "feedback" to the handle.
  12. Local muffler shop, MIG weld a sleeve/liner in it???
  13. Could you not get oil @ Wally World, Filters at Advanced Auto/AutoZone/O'Reilly and tires from Motorcycle Super Store?
  14. "Bike came to rest 704 feet" Ya think SPEED might have somehow entered into the equation?
  15. Is there a break down on the control valve(s)?
  16. Just a shot in the dark:scratchchin:, but are the control levers connected directly to the spool in the control valve? :think:Or, does the lever push on a spring that then moves the spool? If the latter is the case, maybe the spring has broken.
  17. Not sure about other years, but my 1998 RSTC seat has a tab the slips into a slot close to the fuel tank. Then there is a tab on the rear of the seat that points straight down. That tab snaps into a latch which locks the seat in place. To get the seat off takes the ignition key to unlock the rear latch.
  18. I must be doing something wrong. I get a message that it is a private video and it is asking for an ID and password...
  19. Potential Darwin award recipient!
  20. Ok, did that, but now why is the bottom part of the bar cut off?
  21. Just saw on the news where a lady 20 years dead received her $250.00 stimulus check. Our Tax dollars at work
  22. My arm is still twisted. I went to the registration page and didn't find any "clickable" buttons...
  23. That my friend is a truly lovely bike!!! except maybe for those really ugly leather bags on the back:innocent:, you should remove them immediately and mail them to me....:stickpoke::crackup: Really you done GOOD!!!! Welcome aboard:thumbsup2:
  24. So, I can take the mirror (glass) out of the rubber trim ring to get to the tensioner bolt?
  25. I guess after 11 years, what ever friction material holding the mirrors on my RSTC is starting to give up. I constantly have to readjust them. Short of super glue or duct tape has anyone come up with a way to tighten up the swivel joint between the back of the mirror and the mounting arm?
