Taz, Sorry to hear the overhaul is necessary, but glad you are able to get it done. Sounds like you have "the plan" in place. Prayers are with you! Don't be shy to let us know what help you need during your recovery.

Item # 170383617268 also caught my eye, but the reserve on it is $6300.00, which seems a little high, maybe. I may try to see if he'll trade for my Pontiac.

Is that the luggage rack? What I'm looking for is the rack/frame that mounts the trunk to the bike. --------------------------------------- Disregard!!! I FOUND it...

Being a mobile home, there is also suppose to be a ground wire clamped to each main frame, under the house. Check to see if there is a bare wire stapled to the pole and running down to the ground (dirt). The grounding rod may have been driven into place in the post hole, before the pole was set. If so it may not be visible. At any rate there should be 4 wires running from the box on the pole into the house. (2-lines, 1-neutral and 1-ground(usually bare))

By SATA do you mean IDE? If so, Most motherboards have 2 connectors, which will each support 2 drives with the proper cable. Jumper one as "Master with Slave Present" and the other one as "Slave". OR, Jumper them both as CS (Cable Select) and the one connected to the middle plug in the ribbon cable becomes the slave and the on on the very end becomes the master.

Don't know about Texas, but "Code" in Mississippi requires an 8' ground rod and I believe #6(minimum) wire from the rod to the ground lug in the box. That wire to/from the ground rod does not have to be insulated.

Yes, the words "OOPS" and "computer" definitely should never be used in the same sentence!!!

Congrats!!! I'm waiting on the state Voc-Rehab to push the "OK" button on mine. Have jumped through all the hoops and done the fitting. Now all that is left is getting the ok for what the audiologist recommended. I just hope they come with an "ignore wife" position on them...

As well as a call to the Attorney General's office, why not have the police file a report for theft of your property. That would make "someone" criminally liable and an arrest warrant could be issued. Then file a claim with either your bike insurance or home owner's insurance. If they pay you, then they (the insurance company) will probably go after the dealer/painter to recover their money. At least that way it would cut your loss to just your insurance deductible.

Does you state's Attorney General's office not have a consumer fraud protection division? It is amazing how quickly things begin to happen when folks receive a letter from them!!! Been there done that with a mobile home manufacturer. It works!!!

:confused24: 1. Should I paint the bags to match the bike? 2. Should I paint the Ivory on the bike to match the Black Cherry? 3. Do neither and name my bike "The Coat of Many Colors"? 4. Anyone interested in the leather bags I took off?

I met a "dark colored" south bound Venture on Hwy 15 south of Ackerman, MS around the Choctaw Game Refuge turn off, this afternoon (Saturday). Was it one of us?

A short while ago one of the new members posted something asking the ladies what kind of headband his girlfriend should wear, to keep her hair from blowing, 'cause she didn't like wearing a helmet. Am I wrong to ask; "What was he thinking???"

I remember listening to it, and I think we decided that cylinder was dead. have you checked to see if that exhaust pipe was hot?

Who makes a trunk for my '06 RSTD?
wes0778 replied to BCowand's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Take a look at this http://www.ioffer.com/i/HD-HARLEY-DAVIDSON-TOUR-PAK-PK-ROADKING-ELECTRA-GLIDE-104261232 then email Justin at tohptrading@gmail.com to order it. Price with shipping was $189.00, but the rack I got had a blemish, so I don't know what "today's price" will be. I got the mounting bracket from one of our members Buz (naturbar). I haven't mounted it yet, so no pictures... YET. Walter -

If I'm losing clutch fluid and there are no external leaks evident:think:, am I to assume that the fluid is goin into the crankcase? The clutch works fine and does not bleed down even while holding it disengaged at long stoplights. I've had to refill the master cylinder once in the last three months and it needs some fluid now. It did not start "using" fluid before I changed it the last part of May.

Glad he's OK!!! Someone was watching out for him. I hope he realizes that not everyone gets a second chance!!!
