Just my Is there a Dental school close by? Here Locally there is the University of Mississippi Dental School. That is where my wife had her implants done. Don't remember the total cost, but it was NO WHERE NEAR the prices y'all have been mentioning! The care and work are excellent and being a teaching hospital the technology is cutting edge (no pun intended )

Need some electrical input

Check the ground on the left front run/turn light. If ground is faulty the run light may be seeking ground through the turn filament. This can cause all kinda weird things. -

The ballast is the problem with the HID -
'Bless me Father for I have sinned. I have been with a loose girl" The priest asks, "is that you, little Joey Pagano?" "Yes Father, it is I" "And who was the girl you were with?" "I can't tell you, Father. I don't want to ruin her reputation" "Well joey, I'm sure to find out her name sooner or later so you might as well tell me now. Was it Tina Minettii?" "I cannot say" "Was it Teresa Mazzarelli?" "I'll never tell" "Was it Nina Capelli?" "I'm sorry but I cannot name her." "Was it Cathy Piriano?" "My lips are sealed." "Was it Rosa DiAngelo then?" "Please Father, I cannot tell you." The priest sighs in frustration. "You're very tight lipped, and I admire that. But you've sinned and have to atone. You cannot be an alter boy for 4 months. Now you go and behave yourself." Joey walks back to the pew, and his friend Franco slides over and whispers "what did you get?" "Four months vacation and five good leads."

Not long after I got my '99 RSV, I put in a SilverStar Ultra (H4) light bulb. ran it for a while and put in one of the Canadian HID systems. That lasted just under a year. I asked for warrant, but never got it, but that's another story for another time. I then put the SilverStar Ultra back in there. Well last Tuesday, I noticed the headlight, low beam, was out. The passing light were still on, so I knew the fuse was not blown. I have a larger power wire run to the fairing and the headlight is on one relay and the passing lights on another, but both relays are powered by that larger wire. So, I switched to high beam and it lit for maybe 2 seconds at the most. Well I split the fairing and pulled the bulb. Sure enough, both filaments were blown. Well that bulb was several years old, so I thought it had served me well and it was just its' time to go. I put in a brand new "ultra" and all was well. As I mentioned that was last Tuesday, one day short of a week. Since then I have probably only ridden the bike maybe 2 hours. Today I rode 90 miles to Hattiesburg, so add another 1-1/2 hours and I find the low beam is out, again. I switch to high bean and it comes on and stays lit. With the high beam on, a friend and I ride 5 miles to the DMV for her to take her road test. We get there and now the high beam is out. My 1st thought is high voltage, but none of the other incandescent bulbs are blown. The only variable that has changed on the bike is I installed the Voyager kit and yes the bike does ride a bit rougher. I'm wondering if that is the problem, OR is it a natural tendency of the SilverStar Ultras to blow the remaining filament when the 1st one goes. I got home too late this afternoon to do any testing, so I'll start tomorrow. Maybe I just got a bad bulb, but at $26.00 each I don't wanna blow too many of them testing!!! Any thoughts??? Any had the same experience???

NO-NO, I didn't mean FEDERAL CCW! I meant that if my state issued me a MS CCW that ALL states had to honor it, just like they honor my MS drivers license.
-
Hope this does not constitute a political comment, but what if we all inundated our federal lawmakers with requests for legislation making a CCW in one state good in ALL states, just like a driver's license?

Not sure about the roads from Atlanta to Montgomery, but once in Montgomery, take US 80 to Cuba AL, where you can turn on US11/US80. There is a stretch in Meridian, MS where I think you cannot avoid a short stretch of interstate, but then take US11 south to Laurel, MS where you pick up US84, all the way to Natchez. Or, If you wanted to ride the Natchez Trace, where you will need to watch out for Bambi and the bears (the kind in patrol cars!) Make your way to Tuscaloosa and pick up US82. It will take you all the way to huge metropolis of Mathiston, MS where you can get on The Trace, which runs all the way to Natchez.

Members Mike_G_in_SC and ReggieBrewer rode to my house Thursday. (Thanks for Dinner, Thursday night Reggie) Friday morning we waited out the rain and "Ventured" to my daughter's enclosed garage to install the mounting brackets, then back to my (shade tree) garage to hook on the sidecar. After numerous tweeks, about 5:00 PM they rode off into the sunset, headed for "Venturing" up the Natchez Trace.

Cut an oval piece of galvanized sheet metal. The small diameter is just small enough to go in the hole in the roof. The long diameter will be larger than the hole in the roof. Drill a small hole in the middle of the metal oval and put a stiff wire through the hole and bend it over so the metal oval is hooked to it. Now feed the oval through the hole in the roof and hold it up against the underside of the hole in the roof, with the stiff wire. From here, you can use solder to attach the oval to the underside of the roof and also fill in the hole. I guess you could also use some of today's high strength adhesive instead of solder. Level the hole with body filler, sand prime and paint.

More progress. Got the HF LED tail lights mounted. I'm going to put the amber marker lights under them as turn signals. Now for the wiring.
