Since the original saddlebags are still in place I wonder if this is an add-on kit(4 wheels on the ground), similar to the Voyager?

Steering Head Bearings Hint
wes0778 replied to V7Goose's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Don, good to know!!! Thought about trying this while we were lowering the front end of my scoot at the TX MD, last weekend, but no one knew for sure that the steering bearings are caged. We decided if they weren't, we didn't wanna be chasing 2 dozen BBs. BTW, with the quality help that was there, it only took 3+ hours to lower my bike. It may be 10% mechanical and 90% between my ears, but the bike REALLY handles and corners better at slow speed. Thanks Squid, Gunboat, Donde, Thom and anyone else that was involved!!! -
Pull the left fairing. It is low down and is black so not REAL obvious.

Yes you use the original button.

Just my . I kinda had a similar situation a few years ago. The least expensive way I found was to drive out, in our Saturn, and rent (one way) a U-haul truck and car dolly. Loaded the house stuff in the truck and towed the Saturn back. If you have two drivers you could haul the Civic (FWD?) on the car dolly and your other driver drive your car back. IMHO you don't REALLY wanna tow an empty all the way to CA. A trailer that size will really trash your fuel mileage. OR you could fly out and rent the truck and dolly. Air fare out there will not be THAT much more than the fuel, meals and wear and tear on the body.

Doesn't seem like 20 years, but my 26 year old son had to have it done when he was 6. The doctor said he was one of if not the youngest, if not THE youngest, patients he had ever treated. He was sedated for the procedure. When they brought him back to the room his back was covered with black and blue bruises. He recovered quickly and was sent home later that day. The sent a "funnel", with a screen in the bottom, home with us. They wanted us to catch the "sand" for several days 'til it disappeared. Never had any trouble after the procedure. I still, somewhere, have the spark plug looking device they used.

Lewis, Thoughts and prayers going out for both of you! Please keep us posted as you can. Walter

I've got the HJC IS-Max full face. Good ventilation in the summer, but sure is noisy!!! I also have a CL-33 ventilation in it is not as good as the IS-Max but it is much quieter. I wear it some, but prefer the FF for protection.

I ran a 14ga wire from my Stebel horn relay to the stock horn, behind the left fairing, too. It is amazing how much louder that stock horn is with a larger wire. It has a lower tone so combined with the Stebel it is REALLY loud!!!

the fifth gear acting as an overdrive. This all keeps the motor purring gently, never needing to be revved very hard to accelerate. The final drive is the usual shaft setup that is maintenance free and that's the way it should be. Whatcha wanna bet he's never ridden one??? :stirthepot:
