To those of you who helped "Grace", here, get the motocycle off my leg!!! (Please chime in here and let me know who you are.) At least I can hope there were no pictures!!! I'll be hitting the donate button in a bit. HMMMMM, Am I a charter member of a new club; "I dropped my bike at MD"??? I may have to quit these big events, 'cause I'm 2 for 2. Yeah I joined the "I dropped the bike at Vogel" club last year. At any rate, I seem to be OK, my left calf is sore and I still have some what of a headache, (but maybe when we get home and I let Wes outa the truck that'll go away!!!) Walter

My son and I will be in if we can get a rear tire changed sometime Friday. -
Same thing happens to my '98, occasionally. Even though the sight glass shows fluid, the reservoir is empty. The rubber "cover" pulls down as the fluid is lost. This keeps fluid in the window. Refill the reservoir and pump the lever very slowly, a bunch of times. You MAY have to bleed it, but I usually don't have to. Caution!!! COVER the reservoir BEFORE you pump the lever!!!

Looks like a good time was had by all. Wish I could have been there!!! BTW Brad, how long do the batteries for that shirt last??? :stickpoke:

Speaking of Bob, haven't seen him post anything lately, anyone know if he is OK?

If we get there in one piece, I'll have tools and a vacuum pump too. Be glad to get in on the fun! Will just need a container to get rid of the used fluid BTW I'll need a tire change, 'cause looks like I won't get it done, before I get there.

Fluid change time would be a REALLY good time to install Speed Bleeders TOO!!!

If it is not already apart, I'd go get it ready or not. On second thought, I have a trailer, I'd go get it regardless!!! I went to the Stealer here in the Jackson, MS area last week for a CB passenger transmit button. I also wanted the little chrome inserts that push in the handlebar mounting bolts and the master cylinder mounting bolts. Well they had the one that I needed for the handlebar bolt, but did not stock the smaller ones. I only needed three, but the parts guy said to special order them I had to buy the "package quantity" of 5. Only $3.00 and change, for the 5. Ok, what the heck order them. Well when I went to pick them up there was only one in the package. I brought this to their attention, to which they said "oh, you only ordered one". When I said I paid for the package, I was informed that I did not that the little plugs were $3.00+ EACH. Of course the parts guy I dealt with was on vacation this week. I paid my additional $7.00 for the two I needed and left MAD!!!

We are gonna cage it up there, leaving Tuesday morning. Gonna spend a couple of nights with relatives in Clarksville, TN. I guess we'll get to the Comfort Inn Thursday night. As it stands now, we'll be in my son's blazer. (That's my boy cooling it) I'll have the CB on channel 29.

Don't know about the Fram filters, as I have so far had good luck with the Purolator PureOne #PL14610 (the longer one) or the PL14612. I get them from Advance Auto Parts. Neither Wally World or AutoZone carry them here.
