Hello Rick Hope this helps I did a lot of checking around and decided to go with PCW. I talk to John at PCW, great guy, instructions will come with the kit. (pics below) I installed the kit on my 02 about 60,000 ago, clutch lever pressure stayed the same and still going strong. Because of the warranty is long gone on my bike and my brothers bike we decided to remove the complete AIS. All went well only two things to look out for, one getting the steel tubs out with out scratching the paint, this can be tricky, I cut the steel tubs as you can see in the pics. After removing the steel tubs from the engine the ports will have carbon inside of them, have to get the carbon out for the plugs to fit properly. Remember have to pull the bottom of the radiator out fot the front AIS pump and that means taking off the button radiator hose. Check out the pics below. I removed the AIS years ago only because there was a few parts that needed replacing, and I was'nt about to pay for them. Hope this helps

Here's what I found, hard shifting for me was cause by different oils, synthetic oils are not the best oils to use because of wet clutch's, I found after updating the clutch and using synthetic oil the shifting got a lot easer. I been using synthetic oils for the past 60,000 miles, works well for me, the bike has over 100,000 on it now still strong.

I had mounted one in a few places, first use one of Carbons Ones (Larry's) brackets worked great. Then after removing the ASI system I mounted the horn up under the bike and that's where it's been for the past 4 years. Check out the pic's

I purchase a NO-Mar for 125.00 years ago but if HF had one at that time I would have purchase one. I think there all about the same, some guys make there own. It easy, once you get familiar with and the technique down, it's a pice of cake. It's important the wheel and tires has a good balance. Did you watch the video?

Sometimes driving slow is more dangerous then driving fast. It all depends. Driving slow and hanging around heavy trucks will increase your danger zone by 50%. I drive within the speed limit and if everything is right sometimes 5 over. It just all depends on everything. I drive according to the conditions sometimes fast and sometimes slow. I'm a defensive driver and always have been. I can say I have had a bike all my life and never had an accident.

Thank you for that answer, it has been floating around for years. Better to ask it here then another sight, honesty is the best policy

My question was about "moderators" not the administrator. Can moderators read my private messages I send to other members?

Question: I hope no one gets offended, but my curiosity is getting the best of me. Question after reading the post on: Please Read! Regarding private information. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=56688 Can moderators read my private messages I send to other members? I did read under Reading and Posting Messages http://www.venturerider.org/forum/faq.php?faq=vb3_reading_posting#faq_vb3_mods_admins What are moderators and administrators? Moderators oversee specific forums. They generally have the ability to edit and delete posts, move threads, and perform other actions. Becoming a moderator for a specific forum is usually rewarded to users who are particularly helpful and knowledgeable in the subject of the forum they are moderating. Administrators are the people who have overall control of everything that happens on the board. They oversee how the board is styled, what forums to create and how to organize them, what information to require from members and who to appoint as moderators.

Hello Elder Here is a good test you can do to check it out. But after 3 years I would think it's time for a new one, this is call preventative maintenance. Make sure that the battery is fully charged. Disable the engine from starting. Next connect a volt meter to the battery. Now crank the engine for 15 seconds and watch the volt meter. The volt meter should not drop below 9.7 volts. The higher the volts the stronger the battery. If the volts drop below, or close to 9.7 volts, there is something wrong with the battery, replace it. With this test you are checking the load needed for that system to start that engine. You are also testing if that battery can handle a load. I have used gel batteries and did not like them. My favorite is a liquid closed vent battery.

Could someone please help me find a post. Yesterday I was reading a very interesting post, we had to leave so I booked marked the post. When I returned I just couldn't find it. The post was on somthing like any leo's out there and what to say and what not to say when pulled over allso the ten rules which you might want to memorize by a 33 year law enforcement veteran and former training commander with the Maryland State Police and Baltimore Police Department and narrated by former federal judge and acclaimed Baltimore trial lawyer William Billy Murphy Jr. I did find the sights: http://www.independentamerican.org/2010/11/16/10-rules-in-dealing-with-criminals-with-badges/ http://flexyourrights.org/10_Rules/Murphy Thanks for your help. AL Bates P.S The post was very interesting to me and seeing both sides and some of the real experiences that each side have to offer was great. If I do ever get stop again I will place my hands on the wheel and roll my window all the way down and turn on my inside lights, most of all I will be cool, calm and respectful. I wish the post was still here i could have learn a great deal more. Note: hot heads deleting post do nothing for the sight. I wish they would check with the boss first. P.S.2 Infomation in post like the one that got deleted may help to keep both sides straight. No mater what profession there is always a small percentage that will stray.
