Someone is looking out for you and those with you. I am sure that you count your blessing. Hope the rest of trip is less exciting.

Got back from our trip out west. Covered 2,562 miles round trip, went to Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and back to Missouri. Had a great time and after the first morning had no problems with the bike. Pictures will be coming, as soon as I can figure out how to add them.

Post a date and I'll try to be there. The Hub is a great place to stay and I would like to put some names and faces together.

Headed for Colorado in the morning. Going to get an early start and leave about 6:00am. Meeting 2 other couples and are headed west. Plan on staying over at Norton KS. Saturday night and on to Colorado Springs on Sunday. After that down to New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and back to Missouri. Should be a fun trip, hope to take lots of pictures. So if you see someone on a charcoal gray Venture "I'm not lost, just not sure where I'm going" and I'm not late.

Ordered one, thanks for the web site . Now I'll have to get a mounting bracket that I saw in the classifieds. Wife doesn't think that we need a louder horn, but I want to be able to wake up the deer and get them out of my way. That and anyone else that needs waking up.

What time are you planning on pulling out of KC ? I live north of there up I-35. Maybe we could meet up and ride a ways north ? If that would work give me a call 660-772-3323

I'm going to need a couple of the shirts, one with a pocket and one without. If they come in long sleeve maybe a couple more. Let me know the colors available.

Rick worked on the seat of my 08 VRS and I am looking forward to the trip we have planned for Aug. We should cover some 2000 miles if it all pays out. Thanks again Rick. Steve

We have a 2008 S model have had no noticable whine. Will grease the rear splines when we replace the rear tire. Other that that plan on changing the oil and filter every 3000 miles and riding the heck out of it. We had a 1999 Royal Star before this one bought it with 30,000 miles on it and traded it in with 65,000. Changed the oil and tires no problems. Only reason we traded I wanted the 5 year warrenty. Hope this helps with your choice.

Thank Goodness it was not worse. It seems that people in general are not paying attention to what is going on around them. Bikes can be replaced or repaired a life can not. Did the other person even stop ?

Glad that you all okay, like others have said the bike can be fixed of replaced. If you wanted to hunt deer I would suggest using a gun or I prefer bow and arrow. Using your bike is cheating. Hope you get everything fixed soon and are back on the bike. Be safe

We carry a small duffle bag in the rear trunk, and also one on the rear trunk rack. We have had to cover it with a plastic trash bag to keep it dry. Does anyone make a water proof bag to carry on the trunk? Thanks for the tips so far.
