  1. Just as we were leaving today he came up and checked my number again, I said Hi, but he acted like he didnt remember me. We jumped on the bike and left, we didnt have time to hear the story again rofl
  2. Went back today and wife and I looked at a bunch of trailers to get some more ideas for ours. I have to say our favorite even had a venture pulling it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/Hazenson/2010/th_100_3729.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/Hazenson/2010/th_100_3730.jpg Never caught up with the owner so dont know if its a member or not. Talked to 3 other venture riders who had not yet heard of this great site, so I did the polite thing and introduced it and told them top check it out. Heres another we liked- which was also pulled by a venture. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/Hazenson/2010/th_100_3731.jpg another we liked http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/Hazenson/2010/th_100_3728.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/Hazenson/2010/th_100_3733.jpg and a one of Pam and I http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/Hazenson/2010/th_100_3739.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/Hazenson/2010/th_100_3737.jpg was a good time, tons of bikes and the weather was beutiful was a great weekend of riding.
  3. bout the same time we'll be there More of beer drinker here, but would love to hang out with ya's and see what kind of fish ya catch in the Big pond looked that route up on the atlas and you are close. I will take your number with us and give ya a call when I think you are back. I have a new cell phone-- # is 231 388 4957 you bet bro any help is appreciated That was the route I was thinking-just my first thought. I saw that the ferry was 75.00 for round trip-- does that mean 37.50 if were going on thru- or do ya have to come back? Looked like a free ferry got ya to next isle so was hoping we could just keep going north I think first thing I need to do tho, is see if anyone along the way that will be home, and has a carb sync tool, that would help me sync the carbs. Was just gonna do it at Dons MD but we wont hit that till were back.
  4. I saw ya ride thru, wife and I were walkin down the sidewalk when ya rolled by. Also saw a couple first gens, but they were out walkin around too. Were gonna go for a bit today - prolly not too long. Definatly going to MD. So we'll see ya there
  5. Saw a couple Ventures yesterday, we went over and walked around, but blessing is today. Forgot the camera too but today its first thing Im grabbing. Estimated to be about 30 000 biikes there today. Also met a fella that is trying to tell me he found 3 Millinium's all with the number 761, so that there were multiple numbers made of all. I told him about our list and said I didnt believe it. Anyone headed out there today? maybe we'll see ya there. Baldwin Michigan
  6. I do run sea foam thru it often
  7. tire just a lil muddy, there is actually tread there. but after looking at picture again i had to double check
  8. If ya look at my picture, the left exhaust pipe is tan and the right one is darker. I havnt had a carb sync since 6/8/08. 09 the bike sat mostly and has 4000 miles on it since then. My mpg seems to be poor. My question is-- This something that a carb sync may fix or am I looking at a valve issue. The left side has always been a lil lighter since ive had the bike. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/Hazenson/2010/100_3717-1.jpg?t=1273875421
  9. That would be nice to get to meet some of ya's around that area. Were getting pretty excited bout this- gonna be fun.
  10. Well looks like the wife and I are gonna ride down to Durham N.C. spend a couple days with our daughter and look for work. Things just dont seem like there gonna pick up here anytime soon for us road workers. Ive always wanted to ride thru the Outer Banks, I read a article once about it in a biker mag and it just sounds awesome. So were gonna try and do that while downthere. Been putting some on-line apps in around the Durham/Raliegh area and thats where were hoping to relocate too. I am also a lia. builder so been looking in those areas too. Not sure exactly what are exact plans are as we like to wing it usually. But we got 12 or so days to ride and explore and thats what we gonna do. So far the plan is- leave Mich on May 28 -hang with Sarah (daughter) 30 and 31-- (only days she has off work), then we got 9 days before we need to be back home. Pam needs to be back at work June 10.
  11. Looks great, and a great idea, hmm got me thinking too:detective:

    Good Day

Rained all day here But tomarow looks good! Gratzz on the Good Day!
  13. $80 for a pint-- 1 pint of the pearl white (good paint for painting plastic) and 17 dollars for a quart of Plas-stix (alternative to mineral spirits for preping the plastic) and I got some good metal paint (1 pint) for the Tan- $34 total of $131 for paint. The plastic paint comes ready to spray tho-- no thinning or hardner needed. Speaking of rhino coating-- I did my truck bed last year and its pretty pricy too. I did it myself and got a real nice job done. 1 thing for sure is the rhino coat is tuff stuff- not sure if ya can put it on plastic tho, and its very hard to get off your hands- lot like tar- but seems to be holding up great in my truck
  14. yes-maybe-- the way that it opens - it tilts forward- so cooler would have to be quick connect somehow (maybe just a bungie cord in a rack to hold it) cuz it has to be taken off before I can open it. If so then Ill paint it to match. First time I painted plastic so I learned a lil there- plastic paint was $80.00 a quart and took almost all of it just for the car carrier part. The 2 colors match the bike pretty close but the pictures dont show the contrast as well as it really looks I think I will also add interior light that can be clicked on when trunk is open. I also have a couple of HD lights Im trying to find a way to add. Also I have another light that I want to attach to the rack that will match the light on the bikes luggage rack. thought maybe the double luggage rack and matching lights would help tye the whole thing together
  15. Heres a picture of the trailer when I went down and picked it up from Squidly-poo http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/Hazenson/100_3544.jpg?t=1273781808 Heres a couple of it so far, want to add some lights and rack on top just sitting there- still debating on that. Any ideas are welcome hehe http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/Hazenson/2010/100_3714.jpg?t=1273783435 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/Hazenson/2010/th_100_3715.jpg
  16. Congratzz on the new trailer! It will pay for itself in no time. I bought the one from Squidley last year and just came in from working on it. No No its works great- Im just doing some stuff to make it more Millinium like. Hazen-ize it if ya know what I mean. But these trailers pull great and am very happy with mine. Will post pictures soon and surprisingly noone has said to you___ Where r the Pictures!!!!!
  17. Glad to hear your healing up quickly and about to get back in the saddle. Hope to ride with ya sometime this summer
  18. Kinda wondering here too, we should have a few of us leaving Michigan too, maybe we can have a couple of places along the way to meet up. Altho sounds like we'll be headed out early too friday. really lookin forward to it
  19. 105,858 miles here and carbs never been touched, (other then carb sync's) I know this cuz I have a very elaborate record book from previous owner who bought new. I gotta believe there pretty indestructable if you dont let the gas go bad as mentioned
  20. working around this stuff for nearly 20 years and knowing what I know-- all I can say is WOW freaking A- I never seen nothin like that ever also working on these machines I have to say that operator got some King size Gonads- thats alot of trust you have to put into those lil lock pins--- (end of stick where the square end is -theres lock pins the come thru those holes that lock it to the tower-- there actually used as a quick connect to switch buckets or diferent acc. I have to send this to all the operators of our company- they will not believe it without the video!
  21. This winter I found a Calligan water softner system on craigslist, had been looking for one for awhile to install in our house, He had it listed for 200 dollars so I called him and went right over to look at it. Ended up being about 1.5 hour ride there but it was in perfect condition and was only 8 years old. He said that he paid 1200. for it back then but was getting ready to retire and was replacing anything that he thought may go bad. he said that since I drove so far that just give him 150 bucks and call it good. I got it home and installed and we love it, best dern investment I ever made. yea I keep a close eye on craiglist now too.
  22. How far is the motel 6 from there?-- were already booked at the 6- was 51.99 a night but now I heard its a lil run down, and It looks like ya all gonna have a lot more fun there:bawling:
  23. speaking of loose nuts, that must be my que to chime in. Welcome!!! Thats a pretty bike in your avatar there. I saw one like it for sale once and she was very purty
  24. I think the write ups are for a splitter we added for input-- to add another componate- i pod or whatever- hes actually asking about another output- Ive never looked close to the out lines to see if ya can add a splitter there. Im sure ya could split the exsisting lines tho and add one.
