Great post thanks for the heads up on that-- definatly gonna check that out actually both of those. Another one I just happened to find one day is North 66-- north of greensboro so many twistys that i could feel it in my arms at the end of the day. Luv N.C.!

Made it home, 601 miles- from front door of obi inn to my front door-- left at 6 am and got home at 4:34-- made awesome time-- the traffic was really moving BTW-- wife loves the pinstripping-- havnt told her about the stripper yet- hehe Was a most Excellant Adventure-- Thank you again to Don and Eileen for having us another year-- and thanx to Jay Bird too. A very talented man!

Hey guys, looks like Ill be riding solo, as the wife has other plans for the weekend. AkRefugee, are you planning on making it to Don's in one day? And sounds like mm482 gonna spend the night along the way? Just curious becuz I was planning on pulling my trailer and just camping at Don's. I could do either really but would be fun to ride along with one of ya's. Give me some details ya'all hehe

I have to agree, sounds like a solid deal. Quads seem to hold there value pretty well and I can say from experance that honda is a good long running motor if maintaned. If it dosnt have it, might even wanna invest into a winch kit-- had one on mine and it was very very handy.

Not sure if its available there but we just got hooked up with Time warner cable, we got high speed internet ( that is much faster then the dsl we had in mich) cable tv, digital phone, with unlimited calling in usa mexico and P.R. for 2 years for $85 a month. I have heard some bad things about TWC, but so far its been great

Reddevil -- I went and saw a doctor today and they want to remove it on monday, I think I should cuz im worried it will stay and grow back, and I dont really want a toenail growing that points straight up lol Thanx phoneman, that was the important thing to me- wanted to get here with everyone and everything in tack Karl !!, how ya doing?-- I think you would all love it here, dosnt seem to be as hot as I would of thought either. Msshearin- thank you very much, Daughter lives in Durham and shes already informed me that I Will be a duke fan lol flb_78 - I did check into it some, and I heard it is easier, but Im the kinda guy that likes to do things himself if he can. I am a licensed cdl driver, so i wasnt worried about the drive or the truck, and I saved money doing it this way

Well so glad the past week is behind me- its been a very lonngg one. Settling into our new place in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Rented a 26 foot truck and had that packed full. And a car carrier pulling behind that with a car loaded too, made a very long ride. I drove that and wife followed me with my truck. Everything went really well, we just took our time and was close to a uneventfull ride down. Bike made it packed away in the truck and not a single box or anything fell on it thru our 931 mile drive. Wife pulled our motorcycle trailer behind the chevy and had a couple harley guys try to buy it somewhere along the way. I did have one incident, yesterday while moving stuff and getting things set up , I somehow (blaming this on just being very tired and sore) hit my foot with a very heavy appliance and ripped my big toe nail almost off. And boy did it hurt, it put me to my knees for a few minutes. Didnt go to doc today, I had so much to do and the internet/cable guy was here most of the day, but going in the morn as it looks like Ill have to have it removed. And Im not looking forward to that. So gonna take a couple asperin and hit the sack. I need some serious sleep lol ps HeLLo N.C.!! So excited to be here!

Coming down to the final days here in Michigan, Have most everything packed up and the big truck is coming Saturday. Will load sat and sun and be on the road monday. And be moving into new place in Hillsboro NC on wed. Getting excited!
