  2. Hi Jeff, Thanks for looking at the listing for me, and I will give them a call when I figure out the time difference I am getting a Voyager trike conversion for "big blue" can't wait for the thing to get here __________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
  3. I need everyones' help here. I had to alter my left passenger bracket when the sidecar was fitted (had to be altered and raised for frame) now the sidecar is off ready for the trike conversion the floorboard will go back to original position and I need a bracket now. The dealers here will make me take the whole unit of board and bracket for over $AU400. So pleeease, has someone got one out in the garage, or knows how I might get just the left-hand passenger bracket???? :confused24: (2007RSV) Any help would be appreciated _____________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:
  4. Hi Troy, Thanks for the post and I think you may have solved my problem :happy65:Does it come with a removeable pouch/pocket?? and could it be made a little wider at the top?? I am really worried about what the paintwork is going to look like if my boot keeps hitting the tank as I swing the "gammy" leg over it, but don't want to catch my foot on the pouch (can go on when I'm on!) Please send me a personal message with how much one would cost plus shipping?? WOW:sign woo hoo: all the bits are slowly coming together for me to ride again after nearly a year and a half. Just waiting on my trike conversion now. Thanks again for the help ___________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly

  8. Alan and I did a splash and run ride a few years back trying to get from one side of Australia to the other (Perth -Melbourne) racing against time changes to make it in time to get the bikes on the ferry to Tasmania. Only time off the bikes was to pay for fuel, or go to the toilet. Out on the Nullabor the livestock is many and varied. Bad enough we were dodging trucks (42 wheel road trains) but we had kangaroos, eagles (on road kill) foxes and rabbits coming at us :duck:Three b****y days of riding sunrise to just after sunset 8/900mile per day, but we made it :happy65:NEVER want to do that again. I did crazy things to stay awake: yelled at the back of Alans' bike in front of me, or sang at the top of my voice ________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
  9. http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php/product/1023/cat/7 Just let me know if I can help, Rick Hi Rick, As I live over there !! Is it possible to get the memory foam from you and posted over to Western Australia (we don't have it here) Then with your permission I would show your pictures to an upholsterer I know here to fix my pillow top seats. My right leg does not bend much, so side of seat will need a mod. done to it--so might as well make it comfy for long trips too. What would you charge for enough memory foam to do my rider and pillion seats (plus postage) ?????? ______________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly

  15. Can anyone help me with web sites etc. to purchase a wide leather tank guard WITH NO POCKET OR STUDS I will be using it to protect my tank while I pass my right leg over the tank, and any bits on it could cause me to snag the foot and fall -OUCH !! I have to get on the bike by moving my butt up on to the pillion seat and then swinging the gammy leg over the bike--its' a site to behold  Thank u in advance for any help ____________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
  16. Ditto on the full face helmet. If you had taken a gander at my full face helmet after my accident in '07 you would realise why they were invented. I was only travelling at 40 KPH and I would have lost the whole bottom of my face if wearing an open face helmet. _______________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly

  19. Are the baron bag slashers cheaper than the HD road kings ? As I will probably have a hefty postage bill, I need the best price:fingers-crossed-emo _________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
  20. Hi Craig, A leading link suspension moves the centre of the axle forward ( rake angle IS changed) from the original factory forks thus making it easier to turn--when you have a sidecar or trike. Its' like having power steering when you have to pull the car around a corner. Hope that answers your query and if you check my album you will see a photo ______________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel :2133:can fly
  21. I am looking to purchase a leather tank guard BUT I don't want studs or a pocket on it. I will be using it to protect my tank from my boot !! I have a gammy leg and have to pass it over the tank to get on and off (while sitting up on the pillion seat),so if there was anything on the guard I could "come-a-gutsa" off the bike NOT A GOOD LOOK:thumbdown: As cost to Australia is a consideration--cheap too!! If anyone can help with web sites or contacts I would appreciate it ____________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly

  24. Okay, what chance have I got way over here in Australia :confused07: I got friends', but no Venturerider ones over here. At least I know why things haven't gone too good since 2007 (accident) it's the bl***y gremlins !!!! Maybe I need a bucket full of bells. I love the consept of the bell--well done people:happy65: ________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
  25. Hi Greg, I have leading link on my '07 RSV with sidecar and it sure makes it easier on the shoulders-- although I'm female, I'm a "big" girl and usually have no problem with the bigger bikes (rode an ST1300-heavy bugger) But have to say after a full day riding I am glad the link is on the car. Also since an accident the upper body got weaker still, so another bonus for the link on. After surgery the right leg won't bend much now, so am changing to a voyager trike conversion to keep riding, but leading link will stay on the bike ______________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
