  1. AMAZING!!!!!! Well done over there, for bringing such an incredible bird back from extingtion:happy65: We have eagles here and they are so majestic,:happy34:I love to see them soar high when we cross the Nullabor to rallies (west coast to east) ______________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
  2. Your next target... you and your bike in front of a real dam in the river. No earthen dams, no dikes, no beavers. Only concrete or steel will do. Do they have dams in Aussieland?? Later, Scooter Bob and Karen:Venture: Actually Bob, We apparently do a lot of dams in Aussieland: "dam this" "dam that" "dam him" Oh, you mean the one with water in it !! :rotf: __________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly

  7. Make that 20 now!!:stickpoke:Mind you with the time difference I don't even know if we are chatting on the same day:think: It's 11.40am on Friday here-but what day there??? If you guys can't get the thong-wearing thing sorted-just use them as sling-shots and fire paper pellets at each other when the conversation dies :duck::rotfl: ___________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
  8. Listen Fella's, The only trike conversion available to me here in Oz is the Voyager--and some of your comments are making me a little squeamish. I NEED to keep riding (or go insane) Over here all the trikes made are low slung things with VW motors in them. Unfortunately for me, and my bung leg, I can't get on and off. Check out this site: www.oztrikes.com.au The owner and designer is actually a guy in a wheelchair!! I like the idea of not having to change "big blue" from original too, and that the kit bolts on and off and is re-useable on other bikes (keeps value of bike and kit) As I have leading link suspension and I will need to put it over the pit for full inspection at licensing centre (due to modification) I hope that makes me nice and comfortable to keep riding:thumbsup2: ____________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
  9. Okay Everyone, I now have a gremlin bell so where is the best / safest place to put it on my RSV???? ______________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly

  11. FARRR OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope this is still going by the time my trike conversion gets here!! Then ya'll will have to come up with some "International" thingies for us to find we don't have weird things like covered bridges:stickpoke:we have weird things like kangaroos and wombats:crackup::crackup:So, when the bike is on the road: "Can I play, can I Huh, huh huh can I, can I pleeease  ___________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
  12. Hi Everyone, browsing for (camper) trailer sites and hit on this site which listed every motorcycle trailer manufacturer over there (some from Oz too) Thought you might want to take a "gander" at them. www.mcinsurance.com/links/cycle/trailers.htm cheers Annie __________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel :2133:can fly
  13. OH MY GAWD !!! DOES IT GLOW IN THE DARK ?????:crackup:ONLY JOKING The detail is amazing, well done. You could start a competion on appropriate names for your ride?? How about:"Pink Peril" or "Perfectly Performing Pink Purring Pussy" (the 5 "P's) sorry I can't stop laughing now--seem to have lost the plot a little  You yanks sure are different!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! __________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
  14. YOU GO GIRL :happy34:ANOTHER LADY RIDER I agree, any bike right now will feel heavy. As confidence builds and concentration becomes more natural and relaxed it wont feel so heavy / big. Consistency on ONE bike is better too--see how you feel after more ride practice and that course at the college. Sit on the bike in the garage and just rock the weight of it gently from side to side, feel the weight transfer from one leg to another--become "one" with the bike and it's weight GOOD LUCK _________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
  15. The pride I feel marching is amazing --and the tears' flow when they play the last post and reveille. We need to ALWAYS remember, don't we !! _______________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
  16. Geez Bill, A girls' head could get big ya know with compliments like that :crackup:If the lottery comes in, or my insurance claim is successful, we will be over to say "G'Day" to you all. We are just back from the RSL and the diggers had a great time. It was good to see all the kids lining the route the march took, and waving their flags and clapping. Thanks again for your kind words--I am humbled God Bless __________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
  17. I'm married to a "big bruiser of a truckie" thats my reverse :crackup:or at least he will be when I get my Voyager trike kit on the bike. You guys are lucky--more than one choice. We have only just got someone starting to import the voyager kits. Most of the trikes here are built from scratch, long and low and have volkswagin motors in them (oztrikes) There are no other companies who supply a kit to put on your bike. The guy here is calling himself "wedgetail Outriders" and thats who I am getting my kit from _________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
  18. Just wanted to share with you all, how much pride I have, marching in the Anzac Day parade tomorrow (25th April) wearing my fathers' (WW2), and my grandfathers' medals (WW1.) I even have the rising sun badge from my grandfathers army hat. Alan and I march every year--even argued with Dr's when in hospital(after accident) to go in wheelchair and march. To see the old "diggers"-- and our young people serving our country, has always filled me with such pride. And I love going to the RSL club afterwards and spending the day with them. Lots of beer, two-up and BS-magic!! LEST WE FORGET _________________________________________________________________________ NEVER RIDE FASTER THAN YOUR GUARDIAN ANGEL:2133:CAN FLY

  23. I need everyones' help here. I had to alter my left passenger bracket when the sidecar was fitted (had to be altered and raised for frame) now the sidecar is off ready for the trike conversion the floorboard will go back to original position and I need a bracket now. The dealers here will make me take the whole unit of board and bracket for over $AU400. So pleeease, has someone got one out in the garage, or knows how I might get just the left-hand passenger bracket???? :confused24: (2007RSV) Any help would be appreciated _____________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:
  24. Hi Troy, Thanks for the post and I think you may have solved my problem :happy65:Does it come with a removeable pouch/pocket?? and could it be made a little wider at the top?? I am really worried about what the paintwork is going to look like if my boot keeps hitting the tank as I swing the "gammy" leg over it, but don't want to catch my foot on the pouch (can go on when I'm on!) Please send me a personal message with how much one would cost plus shipping?? WOW:sign woo hoo: all the bits are slowly coming together for me to ride again after nearly a year and a half. Just waiting on my trike conversion now. Thanks again for the help ___________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly
