  1. I would like to get TWO SILVER VR.Org stickers, and as the postage will be more to Australia, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in swapping the two stickers for two of my "Aussie" venture badges I had made ??( see avatar picture) Once Sweetnothing has them ready to go we could swap addy's in a PM and do the exchange
  2. AND BRAVO TO YOU FOR WHAT YOU ARE DOING :thumbsup2:
  3. All the accessories I've ordered to make it possible to keep riding are starting to arrive at last Steves' grill guard is here, adjustable floorboards have arrived, rear spoiler light came today and also my braided brake lines. Just waiting on my specially ordered tank bra from Troy (on it's way) and the most important bit--the trike conversion ! That won't arrive here and clear customs until middle of June :crying: The only thing left to get are the handlebars, but getting short of :mo money:Will post pics when it's all done (if I ever figure out how to do it?)
  4. THANK YOU ALL :clap2:for all your help and advice for my friends' going to the U.S. They have been able to purchase a trailer in Portland, Oregon--which is where their bike will be freighted to and off loaded.
  5. Thank you all -- very helpful info. I am already getting longer front brake lines. Alan wants to put braided lines on for me, so ordered them a bit longer. Will check out the Flanders bars, can Freebird, or any other short-armed person (sorry Freebird ) tell me which model / shape they preferred And Boomer, sorry to hear about the draggin' knuckles :rotf:it must be very difficult for you to put the key in the ignition do you roll up your arms ??
  6. Off site for a couple of days due to 'puter trouble, and this thread has gone beserk!! Never knew there could be so much discussion on whether to wrap or unwrap your bits for a long ride  And Snarly Bill, didn't Kramer like a "house" for his "boys" ?? Okay, a mind boggler for you all---------- I'm built for comfort not for speed (lots of me to hug) and on long trips I wear WAIT FOR IT..........................a G-string and bike shorts :shock3: Ain't a perdy site either LOL but beats standing up on the pegs for miles:rotf::rotf::rotf:
  7. THE MIND BOGGLES!!!!!!!! I GUESS IT KEPT THEM WARM FOR AWHILE?
  8. Okay everyone I need your help and advice. Because of the stiff leg I need to move back in the seat (removing some foam from back of seat) so the blessed thing fits on the floorboard BUT now me arms' aren't long enough!! :sign **** happens: I already have the Venture risers on the bike, but have been looking for handlebars with more pullback, so I don't lose grip on the bike when in full lock of the handlebars. And to top it off they can't be too wide either!! I'm not built like a lumber jack :crackup:Want something around 30-33inches wide. So come on people, thinking caps on and help this old girl get riding
  9. GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY TO ALL WHO ARE HAVING AN MRI--BEST OF LUCK AND HOPE YOU ARE ALL BACK RIDING SOON:happy65::happy65:

  11. Thats' a YES Gunboat waiting on the arrival from over there--and it's killing me LOL Haven't ridden since December 2007! On the Voyager site there is a video you can play which gives you a few hints on handling the outrider (on the left of screen) Main thing to remember is you drive not ride, it's a push pull action on the handlebars-like a sidecar
  12. Geez Bill, what have we started ??:confused24: I'll gladly buy another one (silver) for Alan
  13. My husband, Alan, tried that and accidently sat on his right one !!:crackup: He now finds boxer shorts or bicycle shorts the best way to go. Us ladies have a similar problem--sitting on knicker elastic for 2-4 hours is like sitting on a barb wire fence :headache::rotf:
  14. Cowpuc, Thanks for the heads-up on the trailer info. I have sent it on to the friends travelling to the U.S. And Cougar, thanks for the PM
  15. Maybe you need a hair cut--then your cap would fit !!:rotfl:
