  4. Would everyone going to Freebirds' maintenance day like to take part in a fun project?:puzzled: I was thinking of replacing my wallpaper on the computer, and thought (careful!) a photograph of everyone attending the MD would make a terrific one:thumbsup2: So when I wish I was there enjoying your company I can look at the computer and see your smiling faces, and everybody waving to Aussie Annie:banana::banana:So what'd'ya think--is it do-able HUH,HUH
  5. Amazing!!! And even though I live on the other side of this planet WE have men and women serving in that zone too--so the message works here too Amazing !! :australia2::australia2::australia2::australia2::usa::usa::australia2::australia2::australia2::australia2:
  6. Ditto on the hilarious :crackup:funny though, late every afternoon I have something very similar go past me on the way down our hall towards the bathroom. I think the bummers are breeding :rotf:
  7. Hi All, I was going to have to remove some of the padding from the back rest to allow me to move back in the seat so I could get the stiff leg onto the floorboard better (when I rode pillion) but moving the trunk back may be a better option  so PLEASE post instructions on how to do it, so Annie's mechanic (husband Alan) can perform necessary mods.
  8. Okay everyone, will my Sony mini disk player work on the same principle as an MP3 or Ipod ??????

  11. Sorry to hear your bike is damaged, but sure glad you are still here!! Bikes are replaceable--people aren't. Broken thumbs are a pain, I broke my left one in my accident and I'm left handed. It's amazing how useful those digits are. Hope there's not too much pain?
  12. My state is Western Australia, fuel the bike and I'll meet you at Macca's at 3!! My husbands state right now is sober :rotf::crackup::rotf:

  20. That's magic Tom, done deal  My addy is on the back of the envelope thats' on it's way to you and Debby now many thanks
  21. Now I just have to be patient enough to wait! And I'm in the cue with my mechanic (Alan) as he is re-building his latest project bike, a Honda CB900 Bol'd'Or and none of my bits go on until he's finished :bawling:keep asking if he wants some help, but he says, no.
  22. I purchased my RSV off the shop floor back in 2007. Had zero on the clock when I rode it away (solo then & a big mother!!) Apparently mine was the last new one in Western Australia AND Yamaha are not importing any more RSV's into Australia unless specifically ordered and deposit paid. No pictures, or info in the new bike sales section on line here anymore either. So, I now have a "VERY" special bike indeed:happy34: There are two others' down here in my area, and both are members' of my branch of the Ulysses Club. They have 2006 models. The only other one I've seen is a white one--so they are few and far between over here on this side of the big island.
  23. "Safety Chrome" Love the quote, yep had to buy that for the bike it's "safety chrome" and I need to be safe don't I :crackup::crackup:Hubby Alan got a chuckle out of that one too:rotfl:
