  5. Here are pics of the thumb brake now installed on the bike. Just having some wiring issues now (colors different to the U.S. book!!) in regard to the stop light switch -- hopefully sorted today:bang head: NOTE: I am using the thumb brake because my right knee is stiff and I can't get my foot onto the back brake pedal, I also need that area to place my foot on the floorboard.

  7. Would you believe it!!! Our wiring is a different color :bang head: At the stop light switch we have: green/black, green/yellow, yellow/black & yellow/white So now which two wires ??:crying:

  9. Quickstep is installing my thumb brake (replacing back brake) and needs a question answered please Which two wires does he tap in to- to get brake light?? (rear):confused24:

  11. Okay, here are pics of the Spiegler thumb brake that Squeeze kindly helped me purchase. Quickstep is putting it on today Gonna have a lot of stuff on the left handlebar! Will post more pics when installed

  13. Squidley, Thanks for the advice and the links - will save them. As I posted earlier we are going with edsets intercom with mic mutes, for rider to pillion -- so that's a good start What about the factory radio antenna that comes with the bike, would you recommend changing it??:icon_smile_question

  24. Okay, going with Edsets and Mic-Mutes.(ordered) So intercom on bike solved I now have rider to pillion sorted. Question: what do you all think of factory antenna????? Is it good enough, or should we look to a better one:icon_smile_question:icon_smile_question We have hand held CB's we used before for bike to bike, using original intercom cables on the ST. Can we do a similar thing on the Venture??
