OOHHH!! I think it's an "injustice to mankind" headin' our way What's the plan folks, how do we "do right by the world" ??? What's the plan? Should Quickstep just spit fence nails at it and we ride on Massey130 could feed it ice cream? Or is it a case of Atlanta Dragonslayer doing a "simon says" on it!!! Boy, these mankind injustices aren't easy, are they? Now Brake Pad decides to have a quick word with BongoBobNY and then calls everyone into a huddle to tell them....................

Alarm Install Question.................

Bummer thanks for the post. I think he was trying to avoid cracking the front fairing time was running out -
We regularly gave rides to senior citizens over here and they loved it. Then the insurance liability laws changed and we could no longer do it! The Ulysses Club (social club for senior motorcycle enthusiasts) has a motto that I think we all abide by: "Grow Old Disgracefully"

CB (portable) Question......
Aussie Annie replied to Aussie Annie's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Micarl, We have had CB's here for years. We have one we use in the car--and Quickstep uses one in the truck. I don't really know why I didn't get the factory CB in the bike?? I was told it was something to do with our laws/system. What does FRS / GMRS mean????? Quickstep said over here most are now UHF. I emailed a company (cellset.com) that Bill Morphy at Mic-Mutes recommended and they sent info on their FRSet and harnesses that would allow for portable CB to be mounted on handlebar, and connected to the Venture intercom. They said I would need a radio with two audio connectors: 3.5mm speaker output & 2.5mm audio input. His FRSet requires that the PTT switch provides a return path to ground for an interval relay coil connected to 12Vdc. So now I'm back to checking with AirRider, or Bill at Mic-Mutes to see if the PTT switches I purchased do that!! This is Aussie Annie now :bang head::doh: -
I have a patch on the back of my vest, at the top that says "hairdoo by helmet" I rest my case Isn't that why they invented baseball caps? to hide helmet hair:whistling:

CB (portable) Question......
Aussie Annie posted a topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I don't have factory fitted CB on my Venture (different laws in Oz)but have Ed-Sets for helmets, and Bill Morphy at Mic-mutes told us how to get around the "no CB" problem and install the mic-mutes too. My question is: How could we install portable (hand held) CB unit on the handlebar of my bike, to hook up to intercom system?????? Can anyone recommend good ones? Then later on would look to have CB set up (linked) on Quicksteps bike for rider to rider communication???? -
Crash Guard bottle holder
Aussie Annie replied to Owen's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Troy is happy to make these for members BUT doesn't have rear crash bars on his bike!! If someone could send him one to get measurements from he could make them for you all. troy@scustomleather.com -

In June 2009 a Voyager Trike Conversion was put on, so that I can continue to ride. Thanks to my friend's on VR.org I have some amazing "gismo's" to carry my crutches, and I am getting "safety chrome" bit by bit (gotta have it!) Thumb brake is also installed.
