Quickstep and I rode to Albany, in the south east of our state, for the weekend and to take part in the town christmas pageant. It was also to help promote our Ulysses Club AGM and Rally in their area March next year. I rode there and back with Alan as my pillion, so am really pleased. That's my longest ride since the accident-- 985 Klm's Rode down with a group from another branch and took the scenic route through some great country towns and the Stirling Ranges. 37C when we left !! Only 30C for the ride home, so bit cooler.

Good luck with everything RandyA Quickstep had to take the jungle juice one year while trying to get home in the truck from up north!! Was too frightened to cough by the time he got back home :rotf:I conveniently went out for the evening to miss all the "action" :crackup:Next day Quickstep wakes up half way through the procedure, and just watches on the T.V. monitor what they are doing. -
Quickstep and I are leaving in the morning(Friday) on our first decent trip away riding since the accident in 2007!! Going down to Albany (that's AL-bany, not ALL-bany) which is on the south coast of Western Australia--to join about 80-90 other Ulysses Club members and take part in a Christmas Pageant. The club is having their AGM and Rally down there in March 2010 and we are helping to promote it. Leaving on a 37'C day, and travelling about 500 KLM's--to arrive in 24"C (thank goodness) we are coming home Sunday. So, musn't forget to pack some tinsel and decorations for the quike. Oh, and Quickstep is my "Pillion in a Million"

We have big "Wedgetail" eagles over here in Oz, and like you I love to watch them soar through the sky. Only see them way out in the bush though. Beautiful birds
