I have a list of folks I know, all written in a book And every year at Christmas time I go and take a look And that is when I realise that those names are a part - Not of the book they are written in, but of my very heart. For each name stands for someone who has touched my life sometime, And left such a print of friendship that they are good friends of mine. And while it sounds fantastic for me to make this claim I really feel I am composed of each remembered name. And while you may not be aware of any special link, Just knowing you has shaped my life more than you can think. For once you’ve met somebody, the years cannot erase The memory of a pleasant word or of a friendly face. So never think my Christmas cards are just a mere routine Of names upon a Christmas list-forgotten in between. For when I send a Christmas card that is addressed to you, It’s because you are on a list of folks I am indebted to. For one is but a total of the many folks they’ve met And you happen to be one of those I prefer NOT to forget. And whether I have known you for many years or few, In some way you have had a part in shaping things I do. And every year when Christmas comes, I realise anew - The biggest gift life can give is knowing folks like you!! And may the spirit of Christmas that eternally endures, Leave its richest blessing in the hearts of you and yours. Merry Christmas Everyone Annie and Alan Collins

No worries Lynn, just glad you are enjoying the outback. I use the word "possum" all the time (E.G: "hello possum, how are ya?") You really will be going from one extreme to the other, won't you!!

YEP, to all the above I don't get the cold weather as bad as you lot over there, but I have osteoarthritis and "Arthur Ritis" is not my friend when it comes to riding--nor is age!!:crying:

Geez, what a sour puss!! Some wave, some nod their head -- me, I do both Fly flags on the back of the quike for most parades AND know the words to our national anthem, in fact I pretty well know the words to your one as well!!!!! All different types, just like over there -- and some grumpy old buggers too
