  5. No there are no taillights on the rear signals. I have added a run-turn-brake controller to mine which now gives the turnsignals taillights capability. The rear signals are amber which are not allowed to be on as a running light facing rear. When I added the R-T-B controller I also needed to change the lenses to red to make it legal.
  6. I think if you take your time you could sand and polish those out. The fact that it will not come out might actually help you in that it will allow you to control the part better when sanding and polishing them. I have the LA chopper models and I repacked them with part no. 443494 from Dennis Kirk looking at the length of your baffles you might need to buy (4) of them though (2) for each side to have enough to cover. There are a bunch of videos on youtube that will show you how to do it. Otherwise just (firmly) wrap them (not tightly) with the packing material and secure it with masking tape or saftey wire. Wrap them with enough material to just allow you to slide them in to the pipe. You want it to be a firm fit to not allow to much exhaust to by-pass over the sides of the material or this will cause it to wear out guicker. Good Luck!!!

  16. Dingy: If you really want a true plug reading you should always drive the unit until it is at normal operating temps. Then instead of coming to a slow stop and shutting down the motor you will need to use the kill switch at a fair speed and then coast in to your garage. If you do it this way you will always get a true plug reading.
  17. Nitrogen does not support combustion. It is what is called an inert gas. Here is a link to a site that will give you all the info you could ever want. http://www.getnitrogen.org/

  19. The main reason that Duct tape was listed is that it works very well on spoke wheels to replace the sometimes annoying rubber band that tends to move out of position while mounting a tube. We use on our dirt wheels all the time.

  24. Gentlemen: I have a question for you. While removing the rear wheel and lifting up on the rachet which will cause the swingarm to lift also until the nut comes loose. I noticed some play in the assembly and found that the play was coming from the bushing area of the top mount on the rear shock. My question is should there be any play in this bushing at all or should it be a very tight fit at that point. I attached a picture of the shock point I am refrering to.
